Seven-year-old Jack Hoffman became an instant sensation when he lined up in the Nebraska backfield during the team’s annual spring game and ran for a 69-yard touchdown in front of more than 60,000 fans.
Now that moment has been immortalised forever on a trading card.
Upper Deck announced Tuesday that it was creating limited edition "rookie" cards of Hoffman during his run to commemorate the occasion and help raise money for paediatric cancer research.
Hoffman is battling brain cancer and became linked with the Huskers after forming a special friendship with former running back Rex Burkhead.
