Quite possibly. Spain U19 star Ezequiel Calvente shows just how it should be done by scoring an audacious 'switch-hit' penalty against Italy at the U19 European Championships in France.
The Real Betis midfielder beats the Italian keeper with ease after running up to seemingly hit the spot kick with his right foot only to surprise everyone by hitting with his left.
It's a new technique that has never really been seen at the top level before - perhaps it will catch on for the start of the new season?
What a great technique...
genius
Wow and Wow again!!.......
Wonder how many times that will be attempted in the EPL this season?
That was a great penalty.
AWESOME IM GONNA TRY THAT
a genius- seen nuttin like it- simply amazin
Answer: YES
Ferguson... sign him up
great goal but bad sportsmanship
clever
Reminds me of what Henry did in 2004 or 5, I can't remember!

can't watch it in australia, bummer!!!
Spain, Spain and more Spain, bravo this country, viva Espana!
Not to rain on his parade, but I've scored penalties like that before, albeit not at that level!
goal keeper - its not fair........!!!

Neither did the goalie !!
#12 How's it bad sportsmanship???? He's trying to score a goal.No different to the stop/start running penalties but a hell of alot different to using his hands etc.
I'm on vacation in Tobago and I can't see the video because it is "unavailable in your area. "What kind of @#$% is that Yahoo? Are you international or discriminatory?
where's the goalkeeper going once he scores. Bet he is complaining to the ref...LMFAO
Nice penalty, but he is about 11 years late with that idea.
I COULD DO THAT
when you thinks you've seen it all.........
It has been done before by Pele no less in a penalty when Santos played Sheffield Wednesday in a friendly in about 1963 at Hillsborough. It was stunning at the time and I will never forget it! Santos won 5/4 I think.
comment 16...what he done if you look again is made it look like he was going to kick with his right foot sending the keeper to his right, at the last minute he switched and kicked with his left kicking the ball to the keppers left where there was always going to be an empty space...it's nothing new I saw this all the time when playing in saturday leagues when I was younger.
quality
and to say this is a top level game is a huge stretch of the imagination...
