A Japanese astronaut has made history with a game of baseball that is truly out of this world.
Satoshi Furukawa, an astronaut with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, played one-man baseball on the International Space Station.
In weightless conditions, Furukawa managed to pitch, bat and field at the same time.
He pitched, then propelled himself to the other end of a capsule, overtaking the ball as he went, before picking up a bat and making clean contact.
Furukawa them completed the play by catching his own shot.
The 47-year-old landed safely in Kazakhstan, with two fellow astronauts, on Tuesday.
