Celtic manager Neil Lennon answers reporter’s mobile

Neil Lennon was refusing to take life too seriously before his Celtic side faced Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League on Tuesday.

With iPhones now doubling up as dictaphones for unsuspecting managers, Lennon decided to answer the call of a reporter's wife when the phone started ringing in front of his nose.

To some wild guffawing from the assembled media pack, Lennon said hello before the other end of the phone went dead. It wasn't long before the phone started ringing again.

"Are you going to stop interrupting my press conference please," said Lennon . "This is Neil Lennon." Cue more laughter as the phone went dead for a second time.

With Celtic top of the Scottish Premier League by nine points, in the last 16 of the Champions League and in both domestic Cup tournaments in Scotland, it is perhaps of little surprise that he has time to see the lighter side of life.
