A goalkeeper
was left red-faced after an astonishing blunder in a Russian top flight
football match.
Rubin
Kazan's Lithuanian goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis looked under no pressure
as veteran defender Roman Sharonov slotted a pass back to him in the 10th
minute of the Premier League clash against Krasnodar.
And Arlauskis appeared to be taking no chances as he tried to play the ball
cautiously back out of his own box.
But
astonishingly the goalie somehow let the ball slip clean through his legs,
gifting the opposition the opening goal of the match.
Luckily
for Arlauskis, two goals from Turkish playmaker Gokdeniz Karadeniz helped Rubin
turn the game around and escape with all three points - and the young
goalkeeper will no doubt be much more careful next time he has to use his feet!
