Roberto Carlos signs autograph for pitch invader

Brazil legend Roberto Carlos amazed fans and fellow players
alike by signing an autograph for a pitch invader during a match.

The veteran full-back, a World Cup winner with his nation in
2002, currently plays for Russian Premier League team Anzhi Makhachkala.

And during that side's clash against Volga at the weekend, a hoodie-wearing
fan charged on to the pitch and ran up to the former Real Madrid star to ask
    him to sign his shirt.

The bemused Carlos - perhaps a little impressed by the intruder's
unusually good manners - agreed, and even gave the man a hug that prompted him to run off back towards the
stands with his arms held aloft in joy.

But that left the 38-year-old legend with a problem: the fan
had forgotten his pen, forcing the star to call him back and return it - and he also delivered a slap on the back as he ran off again.

The strange encounter failed to put Carlos's side off their
game: Anzhi recovered from a 1-0 half-time deficit to earn them a 2-1 win that
keeps them joint top of the Russian top flight.
