Skier Ager Stefan made an outrageous escape after tumbling
hundreds of feet down a mountain.
The Austrian had climbed up a mountain with friends at the
Stubai Glacier, with the group intending to ski back down the pristine snow.
But just as he had finished setting up his helmet camera and
clicking on his skis, a rock beneath him crumbled - and he tumbled
uncontrollably down the near-vertical, rocky incline.
Incredibly, despite spinning out of control for much of his
fall, he somehow managed to avoid being dashed on any of the larger rocky
outposts - and landed safely in a snowdrift at the bottom of the mountain.
Stefan has become a global internet hit following his astonishing
escape - but the man himself is just thankful that he is still in one piece.
"I am sooooo lucky!" he said.
