    Truck racer survives terrifying crash

A Brazilian truck racer avoided life-threatening injuries after this astonishing crash.

Diumar Bueno was taking part in a Formula Truck race at Guapore in southern Brazil
    when his brakes failed.

Bueno, who clocked 184km/h (114mph) through a speed trap, veered left off the track hoping the gras would slow him down.

However, he careered across the track at turn one, through a crash barrier and down a 15m-high bank to a road outside the circuit.

The driver remained conscious throughout his resuce, but broke both legs and his right arm, and cut his tongue.

As the video shows, his DB Motorsport Volvo truck was completely destroyed.
