If Contador runs away during the next Pyrenean stage ...then will know Gilbert's hunch was ...well, you know. The question is: Does Contador worry about the two S. brothers or does he ride his own race. The two brothers are trying to drive him crazy and make him loose his cool. The real contender is not Frank S. ...it's his brother. If Andy S. would have made a run for it ....would Contador have allowed it? Think about it...he allowed Frank because it's Frank not Andy. In past TDF Andy attacked while leaving his brother Frank behind and Contador would attentively follow. So the S. brother's are attempting a new tactic.

kylie.j.bull (nice name btw) completely agree Gilbert the star of the show so far. Although magnificent Thor resplendent in the Rainbow Jersey today and yellow previuosly. Contador not bluffing, he would have struggled on the back and not lost time. However Andy is bluffing, watch him wobble coming over the finish line yesterday. Frank is the only one to challenge Cadel, however be aware of Basso, he can destroy Cadel in the mountains as in last year's Giro!

i know that is Gilbert a great rider but he can't talk like this Contador is not lying he is really hurted by the crashes and his knee is hurting him and i agree with him about Frank Schleck he is the closest one from the yellow jersey all in all there is no one bluffing and no one have the rights for judging the other riders and we all see who will gets the yellow jersey

What an Stupid comment by this nobody called Gilbert! Alberto has suffered more crashes than anybody in his whole life riding a professional bike. We know Alberto's got his letf knee a bit sore. The rest is about to be seen.

Lua31- idiotic comments. Gilbert is a great rider. Contador has had a few crashes, but the most ever? Get a life. Contador is struggling due to his efforts at the Giro. He won't make the podium this year.

If AC was on his usual form he wouldn't have allowed F S get 40 seconds on him. Think he'' lose more tomorrow as The Shelcks will attack him sooner and harder. Nothing against AC but he's won enough for a while

Contador is not showing his cards, I can believe that. He had a couple of tumbles, so why push now when he can leave it to later when he has recovered more. And if Gilbert can see this, as anyone who has ever cycled in a group can see an individuals limit, then I'll take his words in good faith. Hope he shows that he has been the victim of all these scandals, too many people have jumped on the band wagon against him. Have some respect, allegations have stuck like mud, and this has happened to other great riders in the past too.

contador is a idiot but only time will tell wont it? spider monkey is back.............. i dont take to kindly to peop[le who cheat to be competitive!!!!!! i definately think that he and all of the other in the tour should be tested before and after the tour .if found dirty than they should get a one year suspension .i just recently road with some poplar riders from southern cali and we did it all clean ...... what a ride especially after a pro tells me that im a strong rider........ the hills tell it all if you cant ride the hills... with out doping than you dont belong in the sport!!!!!!!!!!! these guys that win a CLEAN... race that means not doping than they have my reapect...... but i could never cheat myself like that. your are fooling everybody but your self........... names to be unmentioned, period..... but i've been told that a number of riders are dirty,,,,,, and that makes it even more interesting for me to see who it is in the future......... i've been around enough HGH slammers to know if they are using or not.......... but that is there problem......... thank god i don't have to wake up every morning to a fresh needle on my night stand.... my hat goes off to the people i road with recently than you for being such a strong support to me, and i will talk to you soon!!!!!!!!!! I noticed during the last 2 stages, he doesn't look like he's suffering or in trouble. He's probably waiting it out until his knee feels better, not attacking on the first mountain stages...if he's been saving it up then he'll show up this weekend. He can't pull a gimp act like Lance...I don't think anyone will get sucked in by that again! lol...I think he's been very wisely bluffing and waiting it out, Gilbert is probably right.

The excuses are lame. Lets see if he can accelerate and destroy his rivals. Experts are saying, "CONTADOR is going to get a 2 yr ban if he doesn`t win the tour". ( They want to see if he can win the tour as a "vegetarian" before banning him....I guess) ...so he doesnt have any other option, he has to accelerate.
