The Week Ahead

I'm not buying the "Villa don't have a good record at Anfield" argument - pre-Martin O'Neill they had a pretty poor record just about everywhere and the evidence THIS season is that Villa are playing opponents tough both at home and on the road. I like Kuyt in general but a) he's not guaranteed to start; b) 'pool are not in good form; and c) Kuyt doesn't seem to have been quite as good since the Internation break.

On RvP vs. AJ - I'd go RvP but I'm not sure either will be spectacular this week.

Agreed that there is some danger in to much CHE - obviously the midfielders are the biggest risks because they may not play (outside of Lamps). Sheva is a risk to "re-discover" his bad form but he should be in the match and he's definitely cheap.

I'm going to wait until Friday to make the decision in net - if the Chelsea choice is obvious then that's easy - if there is uncertainty, then it gets tougher - there aren't that many other attractive prospects
