The European football establishment is in the Dark Ages when it comes to forward thinking. So this backlash to playing games abroad doesn't surprise me. These dinosaurs don't care about growing the game. But the people who made this decision realize the untapped markets out their to sell their product. Sorry, guys. This is a business after all. I have no problem with it. As far as the quality of play...who cares? Supporters will get excited to travel with their team abroad and the ex-pat fans living in the States, or wherever else they go, will be thrilled to see a 'home' game.
