Reds Waiting On Torres Scans

Liverpool will await the results of scans today on injuries sustained by top scorer Fernando Torres in the controversial 3-0 Barclays Premier League defeat at Manchester United...

Torres was taken off near the end - according to Reds boss Rafael Benitez, "to protect him", with the game already lost...

Benitez said: "Torres had some knocks on his ribs and ankle - a lot of knocks and a lot of kicks. I was just trying to protect him. The doctors will do a scan, and we will see.

i highly doubt that Torres & CRon are injured. sure they may have taken a few knocks but i doubt that's its anything that will keep them from playing this wknd. my guess is that they're reported as being injured/doubtful so they won't have to take part in international friendlies. i'm not saying they don't want to take part but i'm sure that their respective clubs don't want them too.
anyway, to keep up w/ the comments in this thread. i support Man United and i have both Torres & Cristiano at HUGE discounts. so i definitely don't want them hurt.

I'm not a fan of Liverpool nor ManYoo and really against them, but I have them both at dirt cheap and don't want them to get hurt, score as much as possible, even against Chelsea but by not winning the game hehe

I have Torres cheap and I support Liverpool - I want them to beat out Everton for 4th place (which is the only realistic goal they have at this point)
