A fair bit of new this week coming into and out of the international friendlies. It's nice to see that Torres was healthy enough to play for Spain - and so likely Everton at the weekend. However, this is interesting, especially in light of Neal's plans to hold him after his big match against Wigan:
"Roque Santa Cruz sustained an ankle injury during Paraguay's 3-0 defeat to South Africa. The Blackburn manager is unlikely best pleased with another of his charges, Aaron Mokoena, whose tackle did the damage.
A medical report will determine whether Santa Cruz plays in Saturday's Premier League clash with Reading."
In other news...
Sagna's out 3-5 weeks with the knock he picked up against Chelsea. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_33549

Hilarious! Not the injury, but the irony. I mean talk about the opposite of a DNH defender. Not only does he pick cards like their diamonds but he hurts the best attacking player on his club team! oh man
Hahahaha! My team leader has had Santa Cruz since he started doing well in January, and I've had Mok on the cheap almost all season long! What a hilarious way to gain some ground =D
Does anyone in Black Cats land know if Edwards will start? The fake groin injury... being fake....???
Did you post that Santa Cruz link twice just to spite those of us that are holding him?
If RSC doesn't go, that'll be a relief being that I dropped him this week for Berbatov. Sucks for Rovers though, I'm wondering what Mok was thinking.
I'll be the first one laughing my @#$% off when he gets into the book (as expected).
MoKonspiracy Theory: Moko downed RSC in the friendly so that countryman BenniMcC would start for Rovers. Grassy knoll, grassy pitch, it's all the same.
(8) Hmm.. Makes a lot of sense.
8 - yeahh that's it!
