Not much news today that we didn't know yesterday. RSC is still a doubt for Rovers, but Nelsen may return to replace the suspended Samba. Captain Kiwi is only 4.27 and may be value for money if you are looking to replace Sagna. The big news comes from Chelsea as both Lampard and Terry are doubts for the Boro match. That would make Ballack (11.10) an interesting pick. And with the Champions League renewing this week, odds are Anelka gets the Premier League start, saving the Drog for "bigger" fish than Boro.
Bolton are struggling with injuries and suspensions in front of their match with Arsenal, but I'm not sure anyone wants to bet on or against either team at the moment. Ditto the Liverpool derby where Torres is fit, but Cahil and AJ aren't.
There doesn't look to be too many changes for the other bottom sides, though Wigan are missing are host of players as they travel to Portsmouth. Defoe is sure to play and looks a good bet.
All the full team news here:
Cech/Cudicini?
Cech has recovered and will be included in the squad against Boro
"Frank Lampard is not feeling so well. He didn't train today but we'll see John Terry trained and I think he'll be okay." - Avram Grant
Fletcher is out
I think the guys over at Fantasy: Choose 'em or lose 'em took a swipe at Neal and Jeremy, "Some clown may have told you that Stewart Downing (15.48) was going to rack up the points last week." What do you guys think?
"what about ronaldo this weekend, will he be rested with the champions league in mind or will he play?"
Should definitely check multiple sources before dropping Terry at +2. Read the yahoo article and dropped him, then checked Chelsea's team news and read the same thing (3) posted. That's what I get for making fantasy moves when I should be working.
A little off topic, but...does anyone play MLS fantasy? If so what is a good site? Thanks. Also do Jeremy and Neal blog about it? Thanks
saruman444@5 -- I think it was self-deprecating as last week they wrote that "If you wish to continue putting all your eggs in the Middlesbrough basket, then Stewart Downing (15.96) and Gary O'Neil (7.09) are the men for the job." As for CRon, I would expect that he plays this week but all bets are off for next. As for Fantasy MLS... yes, we play the official game. But it's only get us through the long, dark summer without the Premier League.
if 'clown' were plural, they'd have picked a fight (we got your backs Neal and Jeremy).
There's also an unofficial fantasy MLS. mfls.com
Personally, I much prefer milfs.com
Anyone have a league in the official fantasy MLS looking for members? I, too, need a league to carry me over those empty summer months.
