City crushed as Nedum is crocked

Tue Apr 08 05:18PM

Birmingham City's Mauro Zarate and Manchester City's Sun Jihai battle for the ball

Manchester City's defensive problems have taken another turn for the worse after Nedum Onuoha was ruled out for the rest of the season.Onuoha suffered the injury in the second half of Saturday's 2-0 home defeat to Chelsea after falling awkwardly when challenging John Obi Mikel.

The England Under-21 international has undergone surgery on the injury and City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson hopes Onuoha will be fit for pre-season training...

Onuoha's absence adds to City's defensive problems, with fellow youngster Micah Richards currently sidelined with a knee injury.

At 1.96, Jihai Sun is your new "enabler" on defence.  Though betting on Citeh isn't the proposition it was earlier in the season, they do play @Sunderland and home to Fulham around a visit from a FA Cup-distracted Pompey.

  2. Chelsea double week! All aboard the Hilario train this week!...watching Liv/Ars game - Maschearano is OVER rated. Skrtel is solid back in Centre D. I think Arsenal can put Fabergas' picture on the side of a milk carton cause that guy is missing!

  10. Re: (3) and (7) - Yahoo's price adjustment point moves as the season progresses. It was at the 5th game for awhile, then 6th, then 7th, etc. It seems to have moved to the 9th game now. After the first update last Saturday, Yahoo actually rolled back the 8th-game price jumps for players like Bale and Hutton. In a later update after the Spurs' game (Hutton's 9th), his price jump was reinstated. I'd expect the price for A. Reid to jump after his next appearance. Sterjovski's price should also jump if he plays ...
