Alexander Hleb's season is over after the Arsenal midfielder admitted a Football Association charge of violent conduct.
The Belarusian's admission of guilt following an incident involving Reading defender Graeme Murty last weekend means he will now serve a three-match ban.
And with just three games remaining for the Gunners - against Derby, Everton and Sunderland - Hleb will not play again this season.

now Wenger is saying that he might give a chance to Fabianski ahead of Lehmann for the finaL three games . barn dooring Lehmann last time now seem to be useless . n i cant afford Fabianski .

Here's the Arsenal sitch: Yeah, Hleb totally girl-slapped Murty as if Hleb were a sorority girl who'd had a few too many fruity drinks. Murty made a meal of it though. Anyway, Hleb is gone for the season. No Hleb, no Sicky, Eduardo snapped and broken, Flamini is looking like he may move to Italy, Gilberto . . . well he's Gilberto, Eboue is a liability, Senderos is dicey, Gallas is sulky, RvP hasn't been right since the missed PK and first injury this season, K2 and Benchy hate each other, Mad Jens and the man of Aluminum are at war, Cesc got a TV show, Hoyte hamstrung, Sagna's ankle is tender, Djourou and Diaby picked up knocks in reserves early this week . . . not happy times for Arsenal.

Posted by: the_burning_pen on Wed Apr 23 08:36PM | Report abuseand the rest of MANU have gone missing since CRon's miss. They are just lucky that Barcelona so far are playing like old Arsenal -they've made a lot of passes but can't score

Posted by: donegal08 on Wed Apr 23 09:39PM | Report abuseso looking at the existing posts, not a lot of love for K2 even with the favorable matchup this week? I have the $ for a top flight F and his matchup looked good to me...
Posted by: sulldaddy on Thu Apr 24 02:18AM | Report abuseLehmann, walcott, fabregas, K2, van persie and gilberto would have netted 84.5 points last week alone. Against weaker opposition it's maybe worth a look.
