Deco to Chelsea

Chelsea have signed Portugal's Brazil-born playmaker Deco from Barcelona, the day before Brazilian Luiz Felipe Scolari takes over as coach.

The 30-year-old midfielder is close to Scolari who coached him with the Portugal national side, taking them to the Euro 2004 final and the quarter-finals of Euro 2008 earlier this month before signing for London side.

A move months in the making, and to be fair to Neal, when he wrote that "[i]f you ask me, he'll end up in Italy if he indeed leaves Barca (Juve and Milan seem to be snapping up anything that moves this summer).  If he does land on English shores, my money is on Newcastle." Big Phil wasn't the CHE manager at the time.

Surely Deco will be +10, but what now for BFFL?

  3. i am starting to like the buying-selling transaction since (hopefully) it will side to the fantasy manager .. with the expensive players moving out of EPL, this new crop will give us more option with the limit budget .. not sure whether yahoo! will normalise the player price based on their last price during the end season i.e. with ronaldo at 35, that's 35% of the budget allocated to 1 player - which means, deco, modric, santos definitely come in handy .. now lets hope that K2 will be leaving, same goes as BFFL and CRon. with Spain wining the euro2008, all these player now should focus on being with the la liga team instead epl.

    being a spurs fan i cant understand what sense that makes crouch is not half as good as keano.

The price is immaterial, we should focus on the quality of a player like mounting goal whener there chance Its not every buying that will deliver victory.Am not suprised that are my team wiil win this season co I see only victory.However we need more sweet mashines as Deco "da man".BIG UPS GUYS
