Shaun Wright Phillips' agent has ruled out the possibility of the Chelsea winger joining Manchester City despite speculation which has linked him with a return to the club...
But Wright Phillips has no desire to join [Manchester City or Everton], according to his agent Wayne Lindsay.
"He (Wright Phillips) doesn't want to join either of them and we are now discussing the next move to see what we do," Lindsay told skysports.com.
"Because of all the problems there (City) and the uncertainty surrounding the place he is unsure.

Wait! That was (literally) yesterday's news. Today we learn that:
Shaun Wright-Phillips rejoined Manchester City on Thursday as the Chelsea winger completed his move to Eastlands for an undisclosed fee.
Wright-Phillips agreed a four-year contract with Mark Hughes's side and the England international could make his second debut for City in Sunday's Premier League match at Sunderland...
Wright-Phillips started only 43 league games for the Blues, scoring four goals, and he admitted he can't wait to kick-start his career.
"Obviously I'm delighted to come back to City and I just can't wait to get started again," he told City's website.

At 7.87 he could be an interesting choice when Citeh are at home or otherwise have a good match-up. He'll certainly give Citeh some balance from the right and hopefully for them open up space on the left and through the middle for Petrov, Elano and Ireland. Maybe with the Olympics over it's time to get on the Jô bandwagon. He certainly shouldn't hurt for service.
He's still listed for Chelsea. If he plays this weekend for Man City will his points be scored?
Read somewhere Lindsay hasn't been his agent for 5 years. No idea if it's true.
As a Blues fan, I wish him well...
winger who gets in good positions but can't score to save his life and only picks up a few assists. he gets a few phantom points but that is about it, not someone who will go in my squad anytime soon.
I remember him to be a good points scorer when he was at City.
when he was at city before he was one of the top midfielders in the fantasy game, regularly scored 10 - 20 points a week and was up there with Lampard, Gerrard, Gravesen and Robben on the top of the first page. (this was before Ronaldo exploded)
msat08 @ (1), yahoo will give the man his points regardless of what team he's listed as playing for. This is common & in 4 years of playing the game this is normal to have a transfer still pick up his points even if yahoo is a bit slow on the update.
Thanks for the response, slatsfeldo25. yes, yahoo has normally given points to a player who has transferred but wasn't properly listed on the fantasy site but they've needed to be prompted in the past. can we have confirmation from yahoo that they will, indeed, credit our scores w/ swp's points for City?
