  8. He looks very confused you must have got the brains of the family. On another note I need help, Drogba (+3.56), Corradi, Saha (+2.00), Ronaldo (+10.34), Baptista, Gerrard, Gilberto Silva, Baines (+1.73), Dawson (+1.00), Ingimarsson (+1.08) and Hilario. I’m short on money so I’m week in goal and it seems like a bad idea to hinge everything on a few expensive players. Suggestion? Also is Saha Hurt?

  9. PhysioRoom rates Saha "very doubtful" for the weekend. They usually know their stuff. What does this mean for Manyoo? The expected Friday news for this situation is...
Following an impressive start in his first match for Manyoo in the FA Cup, SAF may be tempted to continue with Larsson at the weekend. Saha and Rooney have also been in good form as of late and will be pushing for their own place in the side, though Saha has recently been out with a groin injury and Rooney slipped on a banana peel while leaving practice. A late fitness test will determine if either is passed fit to play. After a lengthy absence, OGS is now fully fit and provides an attractive option if SAF wishes to rest his first choice forwards in prep for the forthcoming critical EPL/CL/Cup match.
    Player to Watch: C. Ronaldo

  11. Kidding aside, Saha is a gamble this weekend. At +2.00, you have a decision to make. Usually I'd keep a player up in value and likely to return soon, but you run the risk of getting Henried (where you are strung along for a couple weeks before learning he'll be out for a month.) As for the rest of Manyoo, it's a challenge. SAF now has options up front AND in the middle. With Cron, you basically have all you need. Giggs is money, but Park and Fletch could steal some minutes. Larsson ought to be cheap, but hasn't been posted yet. No need to make a decision today, so if you are itching to get additional Manyoo (other than Cron), might as well wait for Friday and pray that there is something in the news that helps clarify. (I've picked on Sky's write-ups once or twice, especially for the Player to Watch bit that has led me down a couple long dark dead end roads, but they have gotten Manyoo right recently.)

  12. And full disclosure, I bailed on Saha to pick up Henry (before the price jump). I agree with pscarlyle that it was time for him to go. Saha is feast or famine, and if you have Cron, you're covered. Not the best time of the year to have a blank spot in your starting lineup.

  13. in addition to mikelanglais' comments, i might steer clear of manyoo forwards for a while until things get sorted out. you could gamble on larrson or OGS and hope one of them grabs some goals and sees some minutes. but it seems the forward spot at manchester is due for some rotation. if you do indeed have saha at +2, that means you have around 12 or so points to spend on a striker, and there are definitely some good options available outside of united.
