Liverpool rocked by Torres blow

Liverpool striker Fernando Torres will be out of action for up to three weeks with a hamstring strain.

The Spain international, who was also sidelined for three weeks in October with a similar problem, picked up the injury in the 1-0 Champions League victory against French side Marseille at Anfield.

"Fernando has a strain in his right hamstring and will be out of action for between two and three weeks," a spokesman said on the club website after the player underwent a scan...

The club will also be without Brazilian left back Fabio Aurelio, who suffered a calf strain and is expected to be out for two weeks.

Not so sure on that but Kuyt and Keane will up front. Ive been too loyal to Nando, wont be fit until January.

Ech, trade Anelka for Torres adn Torres gets injured and now i cant afford Anelka by 22 cents or something.

Kuyt gonna be liverpool star..with torres fit, kuyt dont get the supply of ball, but without nando, he will get the supply from pool midfielders...Kuyt for the week~

Poor Torres ! never mind it's not the end of the world yet. Babel, Kuyt and Keane's good enough with Gerard in the middle. Too many games, should cut off playing for country...You Never Walk Alone !!

Switched Torres & Aurelio out for Kuyt (of course) & Agger, who seems less likely to receive a yellow than Arbolea and who has been getting more phantom points than Carragher. Now have 3.99 free to contribute to a replacement for discounted Zaki. Also, might switch from a 4-3-3 to a 3-4-3 and replace Agger with Valencia, if/when I drop Zaki.
Re15) Last year's astonishing success for Torres makes this year a big disappointment so far, but don't forget he is only a nino...... ;)
