Dimitar Berbatov, Tottenham

Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov should be recalled to the squad for Wednesday night's Carling Cup match at MK Dons.Berbatov was rested for the 1-0 Premiership win over West Ham on Sunday, but while he returns head coach Martin Jol remains without midfielders Teemu Tainio (hernia) and Steed Malbranque (groin).

Didier Zokora remains doubtful after missing the West Ham game with a mild case of malaria.

I would hope that Berbatov would NOT play tomorrow.  Make the squad, sure.  Substitute run out, OK.  But if you have to rest him after a mid-week game, why then turn around and play him in the mid-week again?  That would make no sense to me.

But I am glad to read that Zokora only has a MILD case of malaria. Very encouraging... for fantasy managers with Huddlestone in the team.
