There has been a lot of buzz on the blog this week about Jussi Jaaskelainen. And for good reason. He put up a 40pt week which is pretty incredible. Not one, but two penalty kick saves to preserve the clean sheet and the win. And recently he has been consistently around 20pts, and averaging over 14.
However he has a price tag of around 19, and hasn't been below ~12.5 all season.
So if you have him in your fantasy team, more power to you. But let's not pretend that everyone is missing the boat on this because there are other attractive keepers, and they have been there all season, listed around 10 dollars/units/linden.
And betting on Bolton, you will get those 1-0 wins. But you run the risk of the tie or the loss if the breaks go the other way. If Roberts or McCarthy were more clinical from the spot you are looking at a loss, 2 goals allowed, and Jussi's week not looking so attractive.
Yeah, and if frogs had wings...
So, who's really on the Bolton bandwagon, home to ManU?

I wouldn't say I'm on the Bolton Bandwagon but I'm on the Jussi bandwagon. It's not as big a risk as you make it sound, THo in my opinion is more risky. Jussi is a Very Good Keeper with a decent enough backline. one which will not overshadow the keeper to the point where there are no shots on. He makes the saves when he's called up on. Even if he doesn't get the clean sheet win he gets the saves to add up.
