Fantasy Premier League

The Fantasist

Injury Report: Gameweek nine

Thu Oct 22 03:20PM

Theo Walcott is a worryingly fragile young man, and he could be out for a month with a knee injury sustained against Birminham City.

Manchester City forward Robinho has had a setback on his return from an ankle injury and is not expected to feature for at least another fortnight.

Danny Murphy suffered a knee tendon strain in Monday's win for Fulham against Hull and faces a couple of weeks out. Jonathan Greening is his likely replacement.

No news on the trio of high-profile 'maybe's for Sunday's Liverpool-Manchester United game at Anfield. The Fantasist would expect Fernando Torres and Wayne Rooney to start, and Steven Gerrard to miss out.

But for goodness sake don't take our word for it - keep a close eye on the injury news or just steer clear altogether as both sides obviously have a tough match-up

And finally, he might not be a big points-getter for Fantasy managers, but spare a thought for Sunderland's excellent Lee Cattermole, who faces a three-month absence with a knee injury.

  2. Eduardo should be back against West Ham,, but will probably start from the bench. Rosicky and Bendtner are both 50:50. I just watched a video on Arsenal.com.

  14. Fantasist whatever pittance yahoo is paying you, your still stealing that money. No mention of Bargain Bily's injury at Everton. This is a big headache for many managers this week, especially if you have him in the 4s. Torres and Johnson expected to start.
