The North London derby often means goals - and plenty of them - so swiftly confine your Arsenal and Tottenham defenders to the scrapheap and look further afield. Manchester United and Chelsea look prime candidates for guaranteed points. United face swine-flu stricken Blackburn at Old Trafford but have a potential defensive crisis of their own, while Chelsea come off the back of their 4-0 thrashing of Bolton in midweek with a repeat of the clash at the Reebok Stadium.
GOALKEEPERS
Choose 'em: Edwin van der Sar (11.18) is not the cheapest but is surely nailed on for a clean sheet against Blackburn, while Shay Given (7.62) is good value with Manchester City visiting Birmingham. The best bet may well lie in the hands of the returning Thomas Sorensen (9.89), who against Wolves at the Britannia Stadium could earn you good points.
Lose 'em: Not even The Fantasist can justify picking Paul Robinson (3.45) this week as Blackburn take on the champions at Old Trafford. Jussi Jaaskelainen (7.27) is appalling value, while bargain-seekers who have enjoyed backing Vito Mannone (7.67) should not stick with their man as he could well be replaced by Manuel Almunia for the visit of Spurs.
DEFENDERS
Choose 'em: John O'Shea (6.42) has a price befitting such an underrated player and the defender will be a proverbial hub of points against Blackburn, especially with Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic doubts for Manchester United, Jonny Evans (8.73) comes back into the reckoning for the brave opportunists. Graham Alexander (5.76) represents terrific value and may even step up to grab you a cheeky penalty.
Lose 'em: Ledley King (11.09) should be banished from your team with Spurs travelling to the Emirates to face free-scoring Arsenal, while the exceptionally-overpriced Gary Cahill (12.16) can be thrown in the same direction with Chelsea coming to town. Liam Ridgewell (7.60) has proved good value so far this season, but a hungry Manchester City could hit his stock hard.
MIDFIELDERS
Choose 'em: Joe Cole (7.91) is as prudent an investment as you could wish for with the Chelsea playmaker hungry for another big performance against Bolton. Yossi Benayoun (10.60) is hardly cheap but with the inventive Israeli playing just off Fernando Torres against Fulham he could be lucrative. Aston Villa face both Everton and West Ham in a two-match gameweek 10, so slipping Stiliyan Petrov (7.53) into your side could prove a wise move.
Lose 'em: If you eagerly look to see how much David Bentley (10.83) is looking to snap up Aaron Lennon's replacement on the cheap you will be sorely disappointed, and picking him up against Arsenal would be an atrocious piece of business. Matthew Taylor is hideously overpriced at 16.89 and should be avoided against Chelsea, while David Dunn's (11.40) stock has rocketed of late but he should be removed for the trip to Old Trafford.
FORWARDS
Choose 'em: Expect Emmanuel Adebayor (12.85) to rediscover his scoring touch against Birmingham at a reduced price, and you will rarely find a better opportunity to back the dangerous Ricardo Fuller (6.14) than at home to Wolves. Dimitar Berbatov (11.16) remains very affordable and will be expected to make his mark against Blackburn.
Lose 'em: The Fantasist has been waiting for Darren Bent's (11.84) goals to finally dry up, but a knee injury could well bring his run to a shuddering halt regardless. Bobby Zamora (8.80) has had a surprisingly bright start to the season but don't expect that to continue against Liverpool, while Jo's (8.41) value is not good with Yakubu waiting in the wings and Louis Saha in fine form.

ure late mister. and city is away to birmingham
You guys missed an obvious Lose 'em for the forwards: Marlon King's price of 4.86 may reflect his ability but it's still asking too much seeing that the only scoring he'll be doing is in the prison showers.
this fella must be from my country (india)...fifa world rank 180 (i guess)...... we have many such pundits commenting on ronaldo/messi et el
Alexander price is wrong
Bentley scores against Arsenal almost every time he plays them.... He had a wonder goal for Tottenham last year. Question really is will he start? I heard Jenas.....
The fantasist is an expert, no, a guru, in all things Fantasy Football . . . except in complicated matters such as weekly scheduled matchups.

do you even look at the fixture list Fantasist?
Matty Taylor hideously overpriced? you're kidding right? I know Bolton is playing Chelsea, but Taylor is averaging 12.67 points per game and has always been a top performer...
Not that I expect him to repeat it, but look at what Bentley did against Arsenal last year.. and Spurs were in much worse shape at the time...
what about rooney, giggs, drogba and gareth barry surely they should get a fair amount of points against bolton, blackburn and birmingham
Really @#$% article
(2) hahahahahahahahaha
@ tears_pjon:
No Villa players? they're having a double week
I have both RVP and Lamps but a lot of filler. Would you drop RVP and go 352 or Lamps and go 433. Whoever I drop I'm going with 4 Villans and 1 Hammer
1. WHY ISNT THERE ANY MENTION OF MILLNER AND AGBONLAHOR AND DIAMANTI WHO ARE ALL PLAYING TWO MATCHES AND WITH THERE FORM THEY ARE VERY MUCH GONNA BE SCORING GOOD
2. ROONEY WILL DEFINITELY BAG POINTS AND SO WILL TORRES
3. DONT FANTASISTS KNOW ABOUT PETROV
yeah yeah i know fantasists are just a little heads up *rolls eyes* but honestly you guys are doing a REALLY pathetic job. So kindly for your own sake and the YAHOO FANTASY FOOTBALL and its fans resign and go start blogging elsewhere which btw no one is gonna read

REALLY??? I wonder who Birmingham and Wigan are playing then???
what about Bilyaletdinov from everton?? will he play??
the people writing this article has no heart and doesn't seems to have participated in this game...
I miss derby its hard picking your team now
i wonder how many point do The Fantasists get through this season ... no, seriously
myhiil?what about beattie or bellamy.
Man, this is the worst thing i've read on here for some time. It's a double game week but basically no mention of that fact, late post, player picks based on incorrect fixtures etc. Put some effort in fantasist - Jeremey/Neal/AssistantManager put in much harder work on their blogs and they don't get paid to do it!
No mention of the 2 teams with double games....great advice!
rodallega and o'hara.nothing about?i have chose rodallega, rooney and beattie.
i hope it will be a good choice.
#16 - How the hell did u afford that team, it's mighty though
robinson is still top class
he shud be second goal in da wrld cup squad
MY GOD, the most OBVIOUS deal is for West Ham & Aston Villa player who play 2 games this week!
@27 - You mean Paul Robinson? He should not be near any England squad, he has the reactions of my granny!
I'm not usually one to bash the Fantasist but his error of City at Pompey is inexcusable. All you have to do is look at a fixture list. Wait...wait...There. I just looked up the fixture list and it says that City is visiting Birmingham. Also, I'm all for getting information from different locations but can he at least come up with stuff less obvious. Drop Paul Robinson at Old Trafford? Ya think? And who exactly was even considering Jo? He hasn't started a league game since August, so he wasn't on anyone's radar.
