Choose 'em: Manchester City stopper Shay Given (10.85) may be a touch on the expensive side, but Burnley simply do not score away from home. Well, that's not strictly true, but nevertheless their paltry tally of just two goals on their travels this season tells all you need to know. And yes, the Fantasist knows that Liverpool are a club in crisis, but Birmingham are unlikely to do much to test Jose Reina at Anfield on Monday. At 9.79, the Spaniard is a justifiable luxury this week.
Lose 'em: Burnley's Brian Jensen (7.99) comes face to face with a Manchester City strike force threatening to break into free scoring mode. Offload the Dane before he costs you points. Manchester United's Edwin van der Sar (11.18) was a shoo-in for a clean sheet seven days ago, but with a game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the horizon, he is anything but this time around.
DEFENDERS
Choose 'em: Kolo Toure (10.66) returns for Manchester City while the Fantasist likes the look of Arsenal's Kieran Gibbs at a mere 6.21. Chelsea have conceded just once at home this season and even the once mighty Manchester United will be hard pushed to do so. So why not go for Branislav Ivanovic (9.35), who will also pose a goal threat from set pieces at the other end?
Lose 'em: But don't go for Jose Bosingwa (9.15) - he may need knee surgery and will cede his place to Ivanovic against the champions. Hull have a pressure game against Stoke to contend with, so you're best off getting shot of the rather expensive Kamil Zayatte (9.06).
MIDFIELDERS
Choose 'em: Remarkably, Joe Cole (7.90) is cheaper than last week, so get on the Chelsea ace now, as it were, before he rises out of your price range. He's as capable as any Chelsea player to get points against Manchester United. Likewise Arsenal's Samir Nasri, who is too cheap to be ignored at 8.06.
Lose 'em: An impressive performance earlier in the week saw Mark Noble's stock rise to 12.23 - surely too high now to take a punt. Lorik Cana (4.73) might not be the best player in the game but, much like chocolate money, he can usually do a job as a cheap filler. Not this week - he's banned so steer well clear. Finally, and this is more a note to the Fantasist himself, sell Aaron Mokoena (1.20) immediately. He may be the cheapest filler in the game, but there is a reason for that. He's rubbish and is liable to minus points every week.
FORWARDS
Choose 'em: Jermain Defoe (13.26) returns from suspension for Tottenham. Six goals already this term say he'll bag another against Sunderland. And who would bet against Darren Bent (12.57) notching against his former club for the Black Cats? Emmanuel Adebayor (12.96) also returns from suspension but punt of the week could well be Liverpool's David Ngog (6.49), who believe it or not has an enviable strike record in the Premier League - two in four appearances so far this season - and could feature against Birmingham, given Liverpool's injury woes.
Lose 'em: Get rid of Bent's striker partner Kenwyne Jones (9.97) - he's banned - while Manchester City's Roque Santa Cruz may not play due to injury, making him too risky a choice, even at 5.97. Likewise, Fernando Torres, who might play, but at 19.82 is too expensive to risk a no-show.
Anyone like the look of Rodallega this weekend at home to Fulham?
nasri is still out injured...the fantasist s u ck s...bring back jeremy and neal...
why wouldnt o'shea play for man utd this sunday?
Wow what stellar advice, 'lose Mokoena'. I think it is quite clear people are not buying him for his points, rather, so that they can manage more expensive players in the rest of their team.
Aha I've Given at 6m, Vermaelen at 7, Boeteng at 6, and Drogba at 13.

"nasri is still out injured" - so that goal he scored in his 90 minutes against AZ Alkmaar in CL didn't count because he was injured. Why do all you naysayers bother coming here at all if it's all such rubbish?
What's the point of picking Given? He won't have a shot to save - might as well pick a keeper who's going to have shots coming at him. Clean sheet points aren't really enough for me already...
this is best team of the weekend(my team)
robinson(save lot of shotting from portsmouth, despite blackburn have a good home record)
vermalen(no need to say more haha),sonko(not enough money haha),gibbs(4 sure give u plenty of point haha)

babel? bellamy?anyone?
@14 Chain_Boiz, I'd recommend you get someone aside from Obertan, Palacios maybe? This is my observation...United have Giggs, Nani, and Valencia, who is finally starting to show his stuff. I doubt there'll be any room for Obertan. Besides he's playing against Chelsea, Just my thought. Overall, your team lucks pretty solid
My Team:
Given
Vermaelen/Heitinga/Gibbs
MTay/Dunn/Fletch
er/A. Reid/Palacios
Drogba/Beattie
what to u guys think...
given
vermaelen/sonko/basham
lampard/cohen/f
abregas/mokoena
drogba/torres/bent or dindane
morreypaul - I really like the Rodallega pick mate. Fulham will be tired after their Euro adventure & don't travel well.
Cheers,

Fantasist- Please put some effort on your blog. From what I see, you don't even give us enough names to create a full squad.
Given, Reyna
Toure, Ivanovic, Gibbs
Joe Cole, Nasri
Defoe, Bent, Adebayor, Ngog
Sure there are 11 players, but in this game it's impossible to choose 4 strikers, or 2 keepers. See? Thank you!!!
I'm loving the shape of my team...
Given (6)
Evra(10),Vermaelen(6), Gibbs(6)
Dempsey(11)Benayoun(8),Valencia(11),Nasri(
8)
Drogba(10),Rodallega(7),Berbatov(11)
Of course the prices are approximative and i did get some bargain at the beginning of the season (Drog,Vermaelen)!!
Dear Fantasist, please add in Lucas Neill (DEF, Everton) and Franco (FWD, West Ham) to the list. Please? Please? and Please.
@yawboakye86 - Looks like a strong line-up, but why 3 ManUtd players? They are away to Chelsea, after all.
pls help to count back Collisons assist in week 10~~ pls help
Some very easy decisions this week, just pick Man City/Villa defenders, Arsenal/Chelsea midfielders and Adybayor, Drogba + Altidore (cause I ran out of funds) up front and bob's ur teapot. Oh and please Eurosport could yiz create a Championship fantasy league, twould b deadly
