Our updated weekly look at who should be in your Fantasy team this weekend.
Four teams play twice this gameweek, so if in doubt stuff your team full of players from Fulham, Blackburn, Everton and Hull City.
Elsewhere, Chelsea have a fantastic match-up at home to Wolves so you can't go far wrong with anyone not named Drogba or Lampard.
GOALKEEPERS
Choose 'em: Mark Schwarzer (10.34) is not cheap, but he has two cracks at a team sheet away to Birmingham and home to Blackburn. Paul Robinson (3.13) also has a double-header, although both games are away. And Stoke's Thomas Sorensen (8.01) gets to play Portsmouth.
Lose 'em: Brad Friedel (10.51) has a deceptively difficult game at Burnley, Tim Howard (9.45) is one double-gamer not worth picking as he visits Old Trafford, and Wigan's Chris Kirkland (5.59) stands behind one of the division's most porous defences.
DEFENDERS
Choose 'em: Paul Konchesky (7.70) looks a solid play, as do all members of the Fulham back four, Branislav Ivanovic (10.17) is expensive but is all but guaranteed a clean sheet as Chelsea take on Wolves, Jonny Evans (7.73) is a slight injury doubt, but Manchester United's injury problems are such that he will probably play.
Lose 'em: Paul Scharner (9.17) gets his share of goals but is too pricy for a trip to Tottenham, The Fantasist feels the West Ham defence could slip up at Hull, and Joseph Yobo (8.47) looks like one to avoid after a tough international week.
MIDFIELDERS
Choose 'em: Joe Cole (6.66) is not guaranteed to start, but he's cheap enough to take the risk, especially against Wolves at home with Lampard, Ballack and Deco all out. Cesc Fabregas (19.28) is too hot to consider leaving out, and Morten Gamst Pedersen (8.83) has two cracks for Blackburn.
Lose 'em: Steven Gerrard (21.00) makes his return from injury but Liverpool face a tough game against Manchester City and Fernando Torres is still out, Wilson Palacios (5.14) is coming back from a long foreign trip and Damien Duff (11.61) is reportedly suffering from shell-shock (or something) after that Ireland game.
STRIKERS
Choose 'em: Nicolas Anelka (16.16) will probably lead the Chelsea line, while Salomon Kalou (6.49) is likely to start. Jozy Altidore (4.92) gets two bites of the cherry for Hull, and Eduardo (8.55) should start for Arsenal.
Lose 'em: The game's top three strikers, Didier Drogba (17.08), Robin van Persie (20.97) and Fernando Torres (19.71) are all out. Darren Bent's (11.22) performance against Brazil was enough to deter The Fantasist, while Robinho's (11.36) likely return has nobody excited, including Robinho.
Don't lose him: Didier Drogba (17.08). It all comes down to the price you bought him for, but many managers would be writing off a big jump in value if they ditched him. Drogba will hopefully miss only one game, so take your medicine and keep him in the side.
What about Mark Schwarzer at Fulham?
cahill or geovanni??both have 2 ganes
cahill or geovanni??both have 2 games
1.will andy johnson start?
2. geovanni or cahill?
The Fantasist is really off today.
Boaz is out injured. Johnny Evans is a major doubt. And Danny Murphy can't make it.
About Drogba.... you think he'll be out only one game? I really doubt it.
This Yahoo/Eurosport Fantasist obviously doesnt read the newspapers. Craig Gordon's got a broken arm and is out for THREE MONTHS. Danny Murphy's out for this weekend, and Saha still needs to face a late fitness test before the Man U match.
Flippin heck, can I get a job over there at Eurosport to replace your current "Fantasist"?? My 4 year old niece knows more about current sports affairs than he does, Moron.
And Saha is not going to play this Sat.... mostly next week. But to risk him? No thanks.
gordon has a broken shoulder... why do you even try?????
A Cole, Evans and McCartney are at least doubtfull
who carez?
Is abou diaby injured???
geovanni
he got 2 home games
plus already rested after suspension
diaby still injured
myhill is available.
@5 "About Drogba.... you think he'll be out only one game? I really doubt it"
Well Yahoo predicted Line-up has him starting. BBC say he should be ok, and the Evening Standard says he faces a late fitness test!!!
So yes 1 game at MOST seems very likley, if he even misses it at all!
Fantasist 1 Vs 0 zerosofinfinity
Oh my god zerosofinfinity!!! You are the one who called us all iditions for buying Myhill for 1 million and then he got us all 12 points!!!! Where have you been??? Wow you got some abuse after those points came in. It was truly hilarious.
lol iditions = idiots. My spelling is pretty bad at times!
Ehhh, A Cole is listed as injured, quite expensive to choose him for £12.66
this is stupid blog.bring back jeremy&neal....
LOL, RVP is valued higher then Torres!
why gerrard must be lose..
he is a good player..even liverpool can win over MU
you wasted you time writing this - most of your recommendations are reported as injured - including in your own eurosport-yahoo articles. Your reason not to pick Gerrard is because he is playing MC????? My Cat could do a better recommendation for this week simply by walking her muddy footprints over a list of players!
Isn't Lampard out for 3 weeks?
why gerrard must not be choose..
Liverpool can beat united with out him..
now he player,,he is the best player in epl n england
Jeremy and Neal never went away. We're just over at fantasyepl.blogspot.com these days.
Consistently the worst advice on the web. Dont play Duff shell shock? Play a defender vs. red hot Arsenal? Play Joe Cole although not guaranteed to start. Funny ..
I was one of the key players in getting the Fantasist employed in, and getting Jeremy and Neale out, but I will say thanks where it's due, so thanks Jeremy in hopefully making darn_laksamana never come on here again.
Agree with # 19 (Quoted: this is stupid blog.bring back jeremy&neal....")
Just a thought - Do you think the Fantasist is messing with us...most of the recommendations are injured and "Steven Gerrard (21.00) makes his return from injury but Liverpool face a tough game against Manchester City". Could that be a cry for DO THE EXACT OPOSITE?!!! It's City baby and they haven't kept a clean sheet or won a game in 6...just a thought.
@28 PLEASE READ COMMENT NUMBER 25 BEFORE EVER POSTING AGAIN!!!
morreypaul- you are the Fantasist aren't you...otherwise, why would you support an organization that is clueless and claims to be "an expert, no, a guru, in all things Fantasy Football". Bring back Jeremy and Neal!!!
