Edgar Davids may get his chance to shine against Blackburn on Sunday after Martin Jol confirmed that Jermaine Jenas will be out for two weeks.Jenas, 23, who along with Ledley King and Aaron Lennon pulled out of the England squad with injuries this week, has a calf problem similar to the one which sidelined full-back Pascal Chimbonda.
Jol confirmed: "JJ has a little tear in his calf. It's the same injury that Pascal Chimbonda had recently and I think he will be out for a couple of weeks."

Let me be the first to start the whispers that this would be the ideal chance for Steed Malbranque to make his first Premiership appearance for Spurs.
wow - malbranque doesn't come cheap despite not having played all season!
he's at a hefty 9.24 at the bottom of the 1st page for midfielders!!!! 0 games!??!
anyway - wondering if I should trade Lampard + Ballack for Ronaldo + Malbranque?
Cos I can't afford Barton + Arteta... sigh.
Pls any thoughts anyone?
After the "Ballack tired out in November" story, I'm strongly leaning towards selling the Lamps+Ballack combo, either this week or next. Chelsea is Chelsea, sure, but their slate after this week isn't the most inviting.
Week of Nov. 25 -- Most of the Premiership has a twin bill. Chelsea's are the rough @ManU, @Bolton, and on a short week after playing away in the Champions League.
Week of Dec. 2 -- No Chelsea Premiership matches AT ALL. Every other team plays; seven mediocrities (Charlton, Blackburn, Spurs, M'boro, Reading, West Ham, Wigan) have double dips. If you're already locking in Cudicini, Cole and/or Drogba at prices far enough below market to swallow the zeroes, you'll practically have to move Lamps and Ballack here, which encourages thinking about moving them to best effect earlier.
Week of Dec. 9 -- This might be the time to retrieve them, if you're so inclined; Chelsea one of only four teams with two-match slates -- home to Arsenal and NUFC.
For me, I'd like to see emerging blog favorite THud - fresh of captaining the U21 squad - reclaim his spot in midfield with Zakora being relieved of those pesky defensive responsibilities and moving into JJ's spot. Steed should be moved in for Ghaley who is, well, either injured or just not very good (or both).
I think I'm going to stick it out with Ballack for the price until the ManYoo and Bolton run is upon us...
Why doesn't Maureen get real and start fielding Joe Cole, have you seen his price !!!
