Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack admits he is beginning to feel the effects of the club's hectic Barclays Premiership schedule.
Ballack said: "I'm not running on reserve just yet but I have reached my limit in terms of the physical demands.
"We will see what it is like in spring not to have a winter break," he told Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

Puh-lease! If he weren't already dead to me for fantasy, he would be now. He's tired? Due to injury and suspension he's only played 7 of Chelsea's 12 Premiership matches. And he's tired?
Ballack -5
"Minus 5" (or "BM-5"--a new blog nickname to add to the confusion?) does cast a lonely figure in that photo. Come on, Germans shouldn't admit to being tired! The trouble is, I don't know where else to put my 5.68. He's like Flamini was for me last year, except more prone to pick up a card. Any suggestions where to put those units/rubles/deutschmarks for a last starting spot (MF in a 3-4-3)?
I'm in the same situation. The guys I'm considering are Sean Davis from Portsmith, who started off the season well before getting nicked up, as well Magpies' Dyer and Sibierski. Dyer may have the most upside of the bunch. And perhaps another week off the pitch will bring Rosicky's price down enough that (if healthy) he'll be a good buy for Arsenal's 2-match schedule for Week 15. In the meantime, Flamini may get another start this weekend! Finally, we can also always hope that perhaps Chelsea loans out Shaun Wright-Phillips to Charlton.......
slim pickings below 6 for middies (defenders and forwards too, for that matter). but dyer is an interesting choice. or sibierski. not great, but middies playing a more attacking role. otherwise it looks like you'll have to sell to buy. or keep ballack and hope he gets his naps in during the week.
let's see, played 7 games, got booked around every corner, earned no fantasy points and he's complaining about being tired? perhaps that lovely little sign-on bonus and the weekly wage would help his muscles manage one or two more appearances this season...and the genuine winter games along with it's end of year holiday double header games have not even seen the light of day as yet - get a grip buddy, some of us have to do real work for a living...pathetic...
