Ashley Cole
 Ashley Cole  (CHE - D)
WHU

Is there another player in the entire Yahoo! system that is referenced by their full name, rather than first initial and last name?

Is it just because A. Cole is a forward for Portsmouth?

Inquiring minds want to know.

  1. I think the temptation to type A HOLE in all caps is too great. Hence "Ashley Cole"

  2. There's another fella from Chelsea with a last name of Cole who has the same affliction. Joe's the one.

  3. Sure enough. Joe Cole. But A. Cole and C. Cole get the intial treatment. So strange! Not Sheva as a middie strange, but still.

  9. for accuracy's sake, Nuno Valente's full name is Nuno Jorge Pereira Silva Valente. And Xabi Alonso is really Xabier Alonso Olano. We mention Valente from time to time as a decent option in defence. If he actually ever pans out we'll have to start calling him NJPSV. Or better yet, BFNJPSV. And by that point we'll be utterly incomprehensible... if we aren't already.
