West Ham's Carlos Tevez

Argentinian striker Carlos Tevez has been ordered to wear a Brazil shirt in training by his West Ham team-mates as punishment for his walk-out.The 22-year-old left Upton Park in a fit of pique last Saturday after being substituted against Sheffield United, but Hammers boss Alan Pardew decided Tevez's team-mates would be allowed to decide what punishment he should face.

They plumped for a fine of £1,000 to be paid to charity and it is reported that they also insisted that the player should wear the national team shirt of Argentina's bitter rivals.

Hmmm.  I wonder if I finish the season above Neal in the standings I can make him wear a Spurs jersey.  Preferably one that says "Cerny" on the back, eh Neal? ;-)

  1. Is Tevez ever going to excel in the Premiership? He is a great young player but hasnt appeared to take up the English game very well?

  2. Tevez in Brazil (one of my homelands) showed that he's one of the most tallented players in the word but also showed many times that he is not an intelligent person. That's in my opinion what made him fail... but as I said he's flair can save his mind from criticism sometimes, but even if he scores to consecutive hat-tricks don't think he's prepared for premiership (THAT'S NOT THE POINT) he will always be far from regular until the day he mets the right coach (I believe the profile of someone as Mourinho or Capelo would suit & turn him into one of the best forwards of the world, but as long as it doesn't happens... don't trust your bets on him!!!!!!!

  3. Yet another example of foriegn players showing there " im bigger than the club " attitude. He should be honoured to play any part in the best league in the world, trouble is these tempremental show offs are keeping the up and coming british youngsters in the reserves, send him home until he can realise that he does not have the divine right to start every match, lets bring on the youth of our country
