Catch-all post today with no Premier League matches this week, but rather FA Cup and transfer news.

Castillo in line to make City bow

Early preview of the most exciting new arrival - so far. It will be interesting to see how/where he plays. He's not an out and out striker but is really good at playing off a center-forward. Which is why his possible link up with Bojinov is so exciting. Will he play off Bianchi? Will SGE play him on the right wing? Or on the right side of MPet-Elano-Castillo in a 4-2-3-1? Answers to all these questions and more...

Mills poised for quick Rams debut

Danny Mills. We hardly missed you. He was always an expensive defender. Maybe that harkened back to his Leeds days. But he's a yellow card waiting to happen so I would stay away regardless of the price. Especially on Derby.

Edwin back between sticks at Villa

I don't think Kusckcak (sp?) did anything to change the fact that Ben Foster will be the first name on my fantasy team next season. And it's nice to see that Tevez is being considered for this match. I doubt he'll play, but there were worries that he would be out for a while. Now I'm hopeful that he can line up against the woeful, and soon to be more depleted, Newcastle defence.

Kaboul and Bent may miss out

Insert your own joke here about how this make TOT better. King is fit again. If he can remain so, do you trust Robbo? He really is a different (and half decent) keeper with King playing. But with that said, how come we don't see any Canizares to Spurs rumours? Lemme start it... wouldn't it be great if Ramos brought his fellow Spainard, Canizares, to Spurs to shore up their backline?

Rams Set To Buy Villa

Unfortunately for them it's Emmanuel, not David.

Evans Heads Back To Sunderland

Evans and McShane made a little stir playing so well for Sunderland last season in the Championship. Maybe you can't separate them or maybe Evans is the senior player, but McShane has been out of his depth in the Premier League. And it's yet another ManU "old" boy. With Savage another option. Keane needs a new, and larger, Rolodex.

Mutch stands by to replace Nafti

Mutch. That's fun to say. Mutch.

Striker crisis for Rovers chief

You know we'll be keeping an eye on RSC's health. But I'm resigned to a "late fitness" test next Saturday.

i think castillo will lead city line. he will complement city's quick counter attack, just like mexico playing style. this will also mean, elano probably the must have in the team - more opportunity for him to assist / score goal. still couldn't get castillo in the name list though ..

re: 1 - I hope so, &... (Neal/Jeremy) why yahoo takes so long to introduce the new players? They are so quick in the saturdays to give the points, so if a player is really confirmed in a club he must be introduced...

A question on Arsenal. Who is the first striker of this team? Adebayor,Van Persie or Eduardo.I am having hard time to understand Wenger's treatment of Adebayor. Looks like he is counting days to put him on the bench even though he had a great season so far.
