It would appear that the new guys that were confirmed late in the week didn't make it into the system (e.g., Murphy, Ivanovic) so we may all miss out on them at rock bottom prices but obviously you'll want to check in on them frequently for next week (unless one or more have spectacular matches, they shouldn't be TOO expensive).
As far as schedules go for next week...Derby and Citeh don't appear to have matches scheduled so everyone who jumped on the MPet bandwagon this weekend will be looking for a replacement...Might I suggest Jimmy Bullard who will re-announce himself to the Premier League audience with a strong performance against Bolton at the Reebok...Arsenal host NUFC who are not likely to discover defending football under Kevin Keegan so EdS remains a strong option...Birmingham travel to Wigan with a chance to show off their new players in a two week period that is likely to determine their survival (@Sunderland this week and home to Derby the next). Bet on six points for the Blues and at least a goal and an assist for McFadden over that stretch and one clean sheet for Murphy.
ManYoo and Chelsea are both home next weekend to sub-par competiton in the form of a weakened Pompey and Reading respectively. There aren't many bargains at ManYoo but between Carvalho, Ivanovic, and the wingers there is plenty to choose from at the Bridge - make sure you continue to watch them.
Finally, Everton host still-pourous Spurs in what should be a strong day for the Toffees attack. Think about making the move to AJ and watch Everton's line-up to see if Fernandes starts this weekend. If both are healthy and starting, they represent good value next weekend.

Two more u@#$%ates yesterday and Skrtel's still missing ...
Posted by: reverendike on Sun Jan 20 11:14AM | Report abuseDid someone notice, according to yahoo fantasy matchcast S.given save - 1 = 2pts, CSheet = 5pts and Tie = 1pts total= 8pts. But it shown save =4???? become 14pts. I wondering how does the calculation work. Is it base on opponents player SOT, e,g bolton have total 4 SOT. If yes then please relook into blackburn B. fridel as Boro total 4 SOT. Jeremy/Neal please advise..thank you

Posted by: ebbeoasis8 on Sun Jan 20 06:03PM | Report abuseRe: LIV-WHU - it's been rescheduled for Wednesday 5 March. Re: Saves - Official stats come from Yahoo's stats provider - Matchcast numbers are often different. SOTs are not equivalent to saves, because many SOTs are blocked by defenders or other opposition players and never reach the keeper.
Posted by: reverendike on Sun Jan 20 07:14PM | Report abuseAs mentioned in the MatchDay forum, it seems the next team selection lockdown is not until Tues. 29 Jan, BUT Villa v Blackburn is on Sat. 26 Jan so, technically that is still week 20 and we can all now load up on players from those two teams and switch back before Tues. for the rest of the matches, unless Yahoo shifts the deadline back, right?
Posted by: goeasy27 on Sun Jan 20 08:02PM | Report abuseNo, because your Week 20 lineup is locked and cannot be edited, so you can't "load up" on any players. It makes selecting AST or BLA players for Week 21 dangerous, because there is no guarantee Yahoo will fix the deadline in time ...
