Lot more keeper news this morning after yesterday's Isakcsson post.
For all of us who bet on him as a 2-gamer, it looks like Kirkland should be fit to play Arsenal. Now, whether or not that is a good thing remains to be seen. Another possible 2-gamer is looking more and more like a no-gamer as Cudicini is still a doubt against Newcastle. And one has to assume that he'll be a question again come the weekend's match at Everton.
Speaking of Chelsea's keepers, Cech expects to train next month though that doesn't give too much of an indication as to when he'll be ready to return to real action.
And now Villa are down to their bare bones as Arsenal wash-out Stuart Taylor hurt his knee against Sheffield United.
tsk, you americans, its between the STICKS man, between the STICKS! ;¬
Unrelated to this article in particular, but its been happening for the past few days and I can suddenly take it no more! The ad for 'Deja Vu', which Yahoo has (I assume) imposed upon your blogsite, cannot be closed (in Firefox at least) and doesn't go away even after the trailer is done playing. So it just stays there, a static black banner across the width of the page, covering up 5-6 lines of quality analysis.
Not sure how much pull you guys have with the new ownership, but if you are feeling bolder than Mourinho, I would implore you to request they do something to make their obnoxious ad somewhat more discreet.
cheers lads.
far be it from me to recommend the AdBlock Plus extension for FireFox...
Fulham have an inviting 2-gamer for Week 19 (home to West Ham, away to Charlton) but problems between the, er, pipes, sticks, in goal, whatever. Problem #1: First keeper Niemi is out and recovering from knee surgery. Problem #2: Niemi's replacement,_ Lastuvka _, and the Fullham defense have allowed six goals in the two matches since Niemi's been gone. Problem #3: Lastuvka has yet to be added by Yahoo to the fantasy roster, making his possible selection moot. I'm sticking with Kirkland this week, with Cudicini my first choice for Week 19 if he's healthy.
regarding the deja vu banner ad try refreshing your screen a couple seconds after it pops up. That should do the trick and remove it. cheers
it has to be Given this week; he's cheap, newcastle are doing well and watford cant score. oh and the film trailer is ruining this site...
Yeah, that film ad is really annoying. Adblock works well for FF users. Otherwise you have to be quick in stopping the loading of the page after the text had loaded but before the flash movie has. The worse thing about it though: I'm sure I've seen it before...
the way i got rid of the deja vu ad was to download the new internet explorer 7. this made it really small and right in the corner of the page so it didnt cover up anything. though this might not work for all...
