  1. from Chelsea official site, Lampard, Drogba and Sheva in squad to face Derby, Cech 2 weeks away from a return. this makes Cuddicini an affordable 2 game keeper for next week, @ sun, @ tot.

  2. Good to know Lamps is fit. He'll play in both fixtures, I believe. More likely than anyone else. I'd say Kalou will also get some time on the pitch, and @

  3. (2) didn't take my whole comment... but Kalou was basically the point, along w/Lamps!! That said... Drogba and Sheva could make Kalou a 20 minute man. We shall see. Lamps seems the obvious two-game choice.

  4. Don't give up an Andreason, as a cheap option, even though the ROI last week was a mere 2.50. I like this lad. He is a nice compliment to Jimmy B.

  5. (3) I have Kalou in my team now. Will he get enough playing time? Or should I get Saha or Sheva? The Elk and Drogs should get most of the playing time. I doubt Sheva will get a start in either of those games. Mr. Donegal, need some help here.

  6. Re:(5) I thought I read somewhere about saha getting injured...I may be wrong about that so dont crucify me if its incorrect...check out some other sources but I feel that I saw it in past day or so.

  7. Saha has a knee problem, I believe... I'd avoid Saha, Sheva... Hard to say about Drogba vs. Anelka, oreven Kalou, so I went w/Berbatov before his price increased...

  8. Its irrelevant to think of chelsea vs derby , that is gone. it doesnt matter because the deadline was on last saturday unless u are thinking of tot vs che plus sun vs che. all away games 4 chelsea. Other news i got was that Saha is back in training

  9. Hi Jeremy and Neal. Are we going to have a bdw for tonight? That would be great.
I'm starting to think that I should stay away from the top-price players as they are sometimes rest EPL and play in another competition.
Thanks for all the great info! It is much appreciated.

  10. (8) My guess is people are thnking post-Derby fixtures for Chelsea. At least they should be! :) Good news for the hard-luck Saha. Perhaps this makes Rooney the choice vs. Tevez, if one can afford Rooney at this stage... but being in-training does not mean match-ready, as we all know. I like Berbatov at home vs. Chelsea, and over any & all Chelsea strikers... but that`s just me. ``To each, his own...`` (Nolan may be a good barn door pick up, once again. Ditto Zat Knight...)

  11. RE (10) I am liking the Nolan pickup idea...went and did it last nite dropping Joe Cole to do so...Also freed up some $$ for me to go grab Rooney over Tevez....the Nolan double includes a match vs WIG so definitely scoring possibility there.

  12. Check on Nolan fitness, he has missed games recently with a back injury.

  13. (12) Good point. Thanks. (11) Do not assume Bolton, or any other team outside the top 4 to 6, can score much vs. Wigan. Defencively, they are in fine form. I may have to get creative and go w/another midfield option. Perhaps Steed, but I'll need to free up some room...

  16. re (13) thanks for the thanks! you considered Scholes, slightly cheaper than Malbranque? I really need Lampard to play tonight! Got Carew, Lampard, J. Cole, Carvalho, Terry and Cuddicini to go.

  22. Damn. Just sold Anderson for Nolan. Is he injured? He played against Liverpool last week. I'd rather keep Nolan even if he doesn't play both matches. He'll probably score more than Anderson playing both games.

  23. re22: if you saw Anderson in Gremio (Brazil) & F.C. Porto (Portugal) you certainly wouldn't say that. Ferguson&Queiroz are no fools to make him the most expensive sign of the season at old trafford
