This was too "good" to leave in the comments:

I got worked over good this weekend. I made the mistake of checking my team Saturday night at a friends party, clicked log out and walked away. Apparently, the PC did not log me out and someone proceeded to sell all my players. I had CRON, K2, Ballack, Carson, Dempsey, etc all at 3 unit discounts. Yesterday was very painful see my team roster empty and then working out filling it back up with the meager 100 units. My season is officially done.

OUCH! Some friends! That's just brutal, and I'm SO SORRY it happened. If it had been me, I'd still be madder than Shane Long and Robbie Keane put together!
We have a friend who started changing his team after a night of drinking and passed out before filling that last spot. He woke up the next morning with only ten players on his roster and no points for the week. And forever more, trading players while drunk and screwing up will be knows as "pulling a Spealman".
There was also someone in the comments last week who sold Torres - I think it was Torres - by accident as their touch pad hit "Sell and Leave Empty" rather than "Sell and Replace".
(And yes, Yahoo! know about the problems with searching and trading players and are improving the game for us.)
But this... this is just beyond the pale. Anyone else have a horror story that they'd like to share?
Robinson certainly slaughtered many of us... Thankfully, Berbatov scored... What a week!!
I 'pulled a Spealman' this year, had to rush out to drink, and woke up late with a hangover only to realise i'd only picked 2 defenders.
I'd be 2nd in my league of 25, rather than 6th. A late surge will hopefully get me back there.
Oh yeah, and i accidently sold a player this year, may have been Yakubu, but it actually worked out for the better, as i replaced him with some who then hit a purple patch!
re(1) they give you the "probably" best choices 4 the week, but you MUST at least know a little bit about the game. See a couple of games and use jeremy & Neal only as a plus. A "great plus"!!!... but no one can be absolutely sure about "who will play the best way tomorrow". Even ronaldo has bad days!... None can predict 100%
Ugh. Given my performance this year, I might as well have kept up last year's drunken picks strategy. One benefit to the move to Nigeria: all EPL all the time. Gonna get a chance to watch a lot more games next year (especially given that there's little else to watch here). So, hopefully, next year's Spealman Super Eagles can shoot for a European spot. (BTW, Spitzberg, shipping plastic toys to Nigeria is going to be pretty pricey for you...)
