Gareth, i like your optimism!! For me, the signs are­ there for a tough season. I really don't see Zola­ being mean and experienced enough to turn games into­ wins. After all, so far we've resorted to long­ balls, negative "sitting too deep" midfield­ play and questionable defending. Can he turn this bad­ patch into good?? Who knows?! I truly hope so, but i­ doubt it!!!

ginge fair comment, but...... every team goes through­ bad patches and we are right now, we will come good and­ hit some form, its good to have the bad patch now. Some­ teams i think are having a bad patch and wont ever have­ a good perios unless a change of manager is brought in,­ i would say that isnt the case with west ham

Post 49: Gareth, you may well have a point but look at­ the facts. We've not really been tested and have­ dropped too many points already. Last season we were­ getting something from these type of games and looked­ reasonably decent. This season we are clueless up­ front, have a fragile defence and are lacking any real­ motivation, tactical awareness and team spirit. On top­ of that we're playing with F**K all­ confidence.......Great ingredients for a potential­ relegation battle!!! I live in hope however but­ we've seen it too many times. Once the rot is set­ it's very difficult to shift.......Maybe we need to­ sign Tevez again?!

Ginge havent seen the game but cant say i totally agree­ with you there, too many really really poor teams for­ us to go even consider relegation, We arent playing at­ our best granted but its not terrible. Just think the­ long term future is looking decent, what have bolton­ fans got to look forward to?
