89' Chelsea have it on the right, Deco touches it to Cole wide who crosses far post and Al-Habsi stays on his line as Drogba powers in far post to head into the ground and in! 4-0.- 88' Turnbull and Cahill collide but the Chelsea keeper is a man about it and bounces straight back up.
- 87' Davies puts the corner in, half-cleared and KLASNIC WITH VOLLEY but well over.
86' Basham on the left crosses low towards the edge of the box, great touch by Klasnic with his right and he stabs it home with his left and it flies across Turnbull but comes back off the post! - 63' Incessant pressure from Chelsea but Ricketts clears and Bolton break, Muamba pops up on the left and they have men over but Elmander dilly-dallies and Chelsea clear.
- 62' Quickly taken and Cole races clear but his finish is blocked by the lunge of Cahill, corner!
- 61' Chelsea are threatening to run riot here as Cole sprints forward but is taken down by Davies, who won the ball but clipped him from behind.

- 58' Essien on halfway, he slips it to Cole who puts it wide left first-time to find Sturridge who is in and he cuts inside of Knight and surely it's three but he drags the finish wide!
- 57' Cahill finds Taylor, Chelsea are a bit at sea here as Ricketts gets in but his cross is poor. Chelsea can break here...

- 55' Cole wins a corner on the right for Chelsea after good work from Deco and Belletti.
- 54' Bolton surge forward, Elmander on the edge of the box after good play by Gardner, great control from the Swede to free Klasnic, he can't get the shot away and it drops to Davies but Chelsea hurl bodies in front of him to block! Half-chance for Bolton.
- 53' Deco turns Knight on the edge of the box finds Belletti wide, he cuts inside past the lumbering Knight and sends a curler that flies wide of the far post.
- 52' Malouda leads with the boot on Elmander in a flagrant act of retribution the ref fails to properly act upon. To be fair to the Swede he makes no fuss and play resumes.
- 51' Essien gets forward but, using his weaker left, sends a rotten high cross miles over and behind for a goal kick.
- 50' Free-kick to Bolton on the left, Davies swings in with his right, half-cleared and Gardner can have a pop but Chelsea block in numbers and clear. Malouda seems okay now.
- 48' Malouda is down injured, in some pain holding his back after copping one from Elmander.
- 47' Chelsea launch a counter attack, Ballack slips it into Cole who shimmies forward and, with Deco and Malouda free, decides to shoot but sends it well wide.

- - CHELSEA SUB: For a laugh they bring on Michael Essien for Kalou. Because they can.
- 45+4 Half-time, Chelsea lead 2-0, cruising at home to Bolton.
- 45+3 Knight tries to play it through from half-way but he is challenge. Steinsson clatters into a challenge that leaves Malouda sprawled on the deck but the ref says he got the ball. Which he did, but he also mullered the France winger with the follow through.
- 45+2 Cole tries another backheel but this one doesn't come off, although Malouda almost gets hold of it before Cahill pokes it clear.
- 45+1 Ballack tries a crossfield pass that flies waaaaay out for a throw, Kalou just admiring the view.
- 45' FOUR minutes of added time, unsurprising given the double-delay for that Hilario injury.
- 44' Neat possession football from the hosts but eventually their attack breaks down and Bolton can build down the left.
- 43' Steinsson surges forward after Ballack's attempted through-ball fails to come off. He is stopped in his tracks though and Chelsea build again.
- 42' The route-one ball from Knight almost catches Chelsea out as Cahill makes a nuisance of himself and Belletti is forced to clear after Ivanovic stumbled!
- 41' Cahill wins a free-kick for Bolton on half-way and he goes into the Chelsea box as Knight looks to pump it long...
- 40' Ballack launches a quick break that sends Malouda away, he races forward and puts Kalou clean through left-centre but Al-Habsi rushes out to save in style with his right hand! The loose ball falls to Sturridge on the right but he can't get the shot away and Bolton clear.
- 39' Malouda in for Ballack, he takes it on the head to try and find Kalou but blocked by Cahill back into Ballack's path, he touches it down for Kalou but he curls the shot well wide.
- 38' Long, hopeful ball is easy for Turnbull. He throws out quickly as Chelsea try to build on the left, neat turn from Malouda as he switches it right. This is too easy for the Premier League leaders.
- 37' Belletti has plenty of time on the right but his cross is wayward, too long for Malouda on the left and out for a throw. He looks a bit annoyed at himself for that.
- 36' Nice one-touch play from Chelsea in the middle of the park but Bolton get it out to touch.
- 34' Great pass into Sturridge from Ballack but his shot is blocked, Belletti now but he crosses weak into Al-Habsi's arms.
- 33' Al-Habsi flies through a crowded box to punch Deco's corner clear, it drops to Joe Cole but his shot is blocked.
- 32' Chelsea still in possession and Belletti has it on the right, low cross in with Cole attacking and Knight stoops to nod out for a corner, even though Al-Habsi was ready to claim. Communication problem perhaps?
- 31' Belletti comes down the right and, after an abortive one-two with Cole, looks back.
- 29' Bolton have a throw on the right which Steinsson will lump long to the far post... good delivery headed back across the box by Knight but Davies is offside.
- 28' That all-but killed off this game. Amazing that Chelsea can include the likes of Deco, Ballack, Ferreira, Joe Cole, Malouda, Kalou, Alex, Belletti and Stankovic - all senior internationals for major nations - yet still be considered weakened.
- 26' Malouda combines with Kalou on the left, Kalou tries to swing a cross over, Malouda running through flicks it on but it's blocked by Knight and ricochets into Malouda's path and he hammers it past Al-Habsi for 2-0!
- 25' Deco sends a flat delivery acorss the six-yard box but just nodded clear. Sturridge has it on the right, his cross is blocked and the pleas for handball are ignored as Bolton clear.
- 24' Malouda back slides in well on Davies as he was about to shoot, the loose ball spins to Cole who turns with a majestic backheel and slides Kalou through, who wins a corner. Lovely footwork from Joe Cole.
- 23' Turnbull was ready to come on but Hilario says he's okay... the Chelsea physios overrule him and on comes Turnbull.
- 22' Hilario is down again, seems to be struggling from that earlier collision with Taylor, who landed on his head as he fell. Turnbull warms up...
- 21' Chelsea counter, Sturridge cuts inside from the right, a clever shimmy and step-over away from Samuel, but his low cross is straight at Al-Habi at the near post.
- 20' Taylor swings it high and deep looking for Knight's far-post run but Hilario claims easily enough.
- 19' Steinsson wins a rather soft free-kick off Ferreira after running into a cul-de-sac of the Portuguese and Malouda.
- 18' Free-kick to Bolton now, on the left, Davies to take but a poor delivery from the ex-Wolves man and easy for Hilario.
17' A lengthy delay as Chelsea keeper Hilario receives treatment after taking a whack in that Taylor chance. He'll be okay though.- 15' Bolton attack straight from the kick-off, great ball in from Steinsson on the right and Belletti slips and Taylor can finish but a great block by Hilario! The ball breaks to Gardner on the edge of the box but he fires over!
- 14' Deco slips it wide to Ferreira, who swings over an excellent cross with his right and in flies Kalou with the header into the bottom right for 1-0!
- 13' Free-kick to Bolton, initially cleared but back with Bolton. Hilario claims. Now Chelsea come forward, cheeky backheel from Deco and Belletti swings it over, Sturridge flies in and he thinks Steinsson pushed him but no penalty!
- 12' Malouda with the challenge, he releases Cole down the left but he is faced with a wall of white, now Belletti has it and tries a long-range shot which is pointless and goes well wide.
- 11' Chelsea finding their rhythm now as they move it right to left, Cole inside and Deco has a crack but, bobbling, it is easy for Al-Habsi.
- 10' Good ball in from the left by Deco but Malouda just can't get a toe on it and Al-Habsi claims.
- 9' Gardner fouls Cole and Chelsea take it quickly, Sturridge wide to Malouda but Knight intercepts his low cross and Chelsea have a throw.
- 8' Good posssession from Bolton on the left but the angled pass from Davies is too long and back to Hilario.
- 7' Deco finds Kalou who slides the ball diagonally right to Belletti but too much on it for the Brazilian, who cannot keep it in.
- 6' Misunderstanding between Ivanovic and Kalou and Steinsson could be in but his cross is poor and cleared.
- 5' Kalou gets forward, tries a shot but it's blocked by Mumaba and Bolton clear, Klasnic coming forward now but Alex tackles.
- 4' Ferreira gets down the left and puts in a testing ball but Al-Habsi gets there ahead of Sturridge.
