    • FT There is the final whistle and it is all over in Istanbul. Fenerbahce have recorded a great, battling win but nonetheless Sevilla will feel confident going into the return leg at home in two weeks time with two away goals
    • 90+3 Another yellow card for Fenerbahce, this time to Alex as he brings down Capel. The referee is having a look at his watch to see if he can bring this to an end
    • 90+2 Sevilla are not done yet as Alves whips a cross in from the left. Demirel, outstanding all night, parries the ball away but it falls only to Kanoute who tries a right footed volley but the ball is just too far behind him and he cannot keep it down
    • 90+1 Sahin is shown a late yellow card for a poor challenge on Alves
    • 90' Alves fires the ball up towards the far post where Poulson is waiting but he just overcooks his kick and Demirel collects
    • 90' Sevilla win a free kick on the left wing and everyone is up for the Spanish side as they look for one last peice of drama
    • 88' GOAL FENERBAHCE! 3-2! Surely that is the win now as substitute Semih Sentürk fires the ball along the ground and into the bottom right hand corner of the net (from the left). It gets a slight deflection on the way through from Dragutinovic but that was undoubtedly Senturk's goal
    • 86' Things are getting increasingly tense at both ends now, with both sides desperately trying to snatch the win but not leave themselves over stretched at the back!
    • 83' This match has lost some of it's magic in the past few minutes which is understandable ... although Keita tries his luck from 25 yards out and worries Demirel for a second or two until the Turk realises the ball is skidding wide
    • 79' Vederson decides to try his luck directly from the free kick, which was always going to be wishful thinking, and he watches as his ball sails high and wide
    • 77' Alex wins a free kick just inside his own half as Escude brings him tumbling to the ground
    • 73' Sahin tries his luck from distance after receiving an inch perfect pass from Boral but it skids past the post to let Sevilla off the hook
    • 67' Fenerbahce substitution: Roberto Carlos is brought off in favour of Vederson having failed to recover from the gaping wound in his shin
    • 67' Escude accidentally landed on Roberto Carlos in the process of scoring that goal leaving the Brazilian with a huge stud mark on his left shin and blood gushing from the wound
    • 66' GOAL SEVILLA! 2-2! Poulson whips the corner in from the left towards the near post where Kanoute is waiting. The former West Ham and Spurs man heads on towards Escude who slams the ball into the top of the net from 4 yards out. Not great defending from Fenerbahce but all credit to the Sevilla spirit for getting themselves back into this match twice now
    • 66' Alves whips the ball in towards the far post from the right and Demirel almost lets a shocker into the back of his net being forced to backtrack rapidly after misjudging the flight of the ball. The Turk does just manage to get back in time though and turn the ball behind for a corner
    • 65' Roberto Carlos concedes a free kick and also gets himself booked on the right wing as he brings Alves crashing to the ground
    • 63' Sevilla substitution: Duda makes way for Capel
    • 61' Alex wants to get in on the act for Fenerbahce and finds Kezman, who tries his luck from distance on the right. The ball skids straight into the hands of Palop though
    • 60' Sevilla are all over the place now as Fenerbahce batter the Spanish defence with first Kezman, then Boral, Lugano and Edu all taking their chance to test Palop
    • 57' GOAL FENERBAHCE! 2-1! Roberto Carlos whips his corner in towards the penalty spot from the left and Lugano takes advantage of another peice of poor defending from Sevilla and sends his unchallenged header spinning into the top right hand corner of the net
    • 54' Alves clashes with Kezman receiving an accidental elbow to the head as both players chase a loose ball. The stretcher is brought on but almost needless to say Alves gets up pretty much as soon as it arrives!
    • 50' Oooh! Demirel really is proving himself to be the hero for Fenerbahce so far tonight as he leaps up to his left to get a fingertip to Kanoute's long range bullet and turn it away
    • 49' Sevilla are all over Fenerbahce at the start of this second half, much like the start of the first, as Duda tries his luck from distance on the right of the box. It's a tricky shot for Demirel to deal with as it bounces just in front of him but the Turk deals with it well and secures the ball
    • 47' Duda is on the ground clutching his face in the first real delay of the match. It looks like he'll be able to continue but Kezman will be put in the book for a reckless challenge nonetheless
    • 46' Sevilla get the second half underway ...
    • HT Sure enough the referee calls time on the first half with the sides locked at 1-1 thanks to two Fenerbahce goals - Kezman opening up at one end before Edu sent the ball past his own keeper at the other end to put the Spanish side level
    • 45' Boral whips a cross in from the left wing again and picks out the head of Edu, who forces a great block from Palop. The ball drops kindly for Alex six yards out who attempts to drill the ball back where it came from but he sends it just wide of the left post. That's got to pretty much be the last chance of the half as there's been hardly any stoppages to warrant any extra time
    • 44' The free kick comes to nothing as Sevilla have the men back to head the ball away but it goes out on the left wing and Fenerbahce are not done with this attack just yet
    • 43' Boral and Alves continue their own private battle on the left and this time it is the Fenerbahce man who comes out on top earning his side a free kick
    • 40' Both sides continue to look threatening each time they get into the opposition's box with Demirel being forced to make another good save as he slaps a corner away only as far as Adriano on the edge of the box. The Brazilian comes up with a good strong header but it is straight back to where Demirel is stood
    • 36' Sevilla on the break try to catch Fenerbahce off guard but are foiled by the linesman, who signals Navas offside as he is clear through on goal and awaiting Alves' pass
    • 34' Oooh! Aurelio almost gives Fenerbahce the lead for a second time and only a peice of outstanding goalkeeping from Palop can keep Sevilla in it. Gonul whips a cross from the left into the far post towards Aurelio whose shot is stopped right on the line by a diving Palop!
    • 33' Gonul breaks down the right wing ... his first cross is blocked Navas but his second reaches Aurelio, who earns Fenerbahce a corner after bouncing the ball off Dragutinovic
    • 29' Roberto Carlos is incensed to find himself being flagged offside as Kezman's attempted chip towards the left post is deflected towards the Brazilian charging in on the left. A close call that one and the ref needs to keep a close eye on this one for the next few minutes as tempers are beginning to run pretty high
    • 26' A bit of a fight breaking out on the left wing as Boral clashes with Alves. An absolutely shocking challenge from the Fenerbahce midfielder, who comes in two-footed from behind and very late indeed, earning himself a rightful yellow card!
    • 23' GOAL SEVILLA! 1-1! Sevilla equalise thanks to some overstretched defending by Edu. He's having a shocker so far tonight, having already conceded a couple of dangerous looking free kicks and no scoring an own goal. Alves swings in a cross from the left and Edu, attempting to stop the ball reaching Fabiano at the far post, chips the ball up over his keeper at full stretch
    • 20' Fabiano with a great chance to get Sevilla back on level terms as Duda plays the ball right to his feet. But the Brazilian's shot soars over the crossbar and he really should have done better with the time and position eh had there
    • 17' GOAL FENERBAHCE! 1-0! Somewhat against the run of play Mateja Kezman has given the home side the lead! A routine cross from Boral from the left of the area is turned into a great headed goal by Kezman as he takes advantage of a miscommunication between Escude and Dragutinovic, both of whom fail to pick up the Serbian striker leaving acres of space between them
    • 13' Roberto Carlos' corner from the left drifts out towards the far post where Kezman is waiting to test Palop for the first time. It's a tight angle though, always favouring the keeper, but what should be a routine save turns into a half chance for Fenerbahce as Palop drops the ball and is forced to dive forward in order to secure it at a second attempt!
    • 11' Fenerbahce are beginning to have some success going forward as Boral races up the left wing. Alves just gets back in time to stop the cross but concedes a corner in the process
    • 7' Another shot from Sevilla as they continue to batter the Fenerbahce back line. This time it comes from Seydou Keita from 10 yards outside the box but again it is straight at Demirel allowing the home keeper an easy catch
    • 5' The Spanish side are keen to show they're not intimidated by the atmosphere as Kanoute fires a right-footed volley goalward after the ball falls kindly for him from Duda's corner. The shot is straight at Demirel, who nonetheless has to be on his toes as he sees the ball late through a mass of bodies
    • 4' Duda earns Sevilla the first corner of the night after Adriano battles his way into the Fenerbahce box
    • 2' Fabiano earns his side the first free kick of the match after being brought down by Dracena. But it comes to nothing as both sides feel each other out in the early stages of this match
    • 1' Fenerbahce get the match underway at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium ...
    • 19:43 The players are looking pretty friendly, with the captain's shaking hands and enjoying a joke, in the tunnel as they wait to enter the arena
    • 19:30 Hello and welcome to eurosport.yahoo.com's LIVE coverage of this Champions League clash between Fenerbahce and Sevilla
