    • Schalke
    • Barcelona
    • FT But there is the half-time whistle - Barca poor in the second-half but they have done enough. And with Manchester United winning 2-0 in Roma - a Barca v United semi-final looks on the cards.
    • 90+5 And Puyol booked for time wasting.
    • 90+4 Larsen heads over another corner as Schalke continue to finish strongly.
    • 90+3 Marquez and Krstajic both booked for tugging at each other in the box.
    • 90+3 Lovely flick form Ernset puts Rafinha away - he then whips in a good cross but Bordon can only head over the bar.
    • 90+1 Giovani booked for not retreating.
    • 90' Four extra minutes for Schalke to try and rescue something.
    • 89' Lovenkrands on for Altintop
    • 87' Ernst booked for dissent
    • 87' Neuer dives low to punch away a good cross from Sylvinho with Henry lurking.
    • 86' Bojan makes way for former Arsenal man Sylvinho - the home fans really are furious with how long the Barca players are taking to come off.
    • 85' Larsen is now booked for a very late challenge on Milito no debate about that decision.
    • 84' Pander booked for pulling back a Barca man.
    • 83' Another change for Barcelona as Giovani comes on for Eto'o.
    • 82' Westermann is furious as he is pulled back by Abidal while getting his head on a Pander free-kick - that was a decent shout for a penalty.
    • 80' Bojan needs treatment after being fouled by Kobiashvili
    • 78' Another superb chance for Schalke as Westermann curls in a cross - Larsen is free from just 10 yards out but makes a mess of the header and it goes wide.
    • 76' Pander curls a left foot drive around the wall but that goes high and wide.
    • 75' Barca have got a little sloppy in the last 15 minutes -Marquez has just fouled Altintop 25 yards out and to the right of goal - another chance for Pander maybe.
    • 73' A change on either side - Yaya Toure off with Marquez on. While Schalke bring on Larsen for Asamoah. Boos for Toure who takes an age to leave the field.
    • 71' GREAT CHANCE SCHALKE - Bordon plays a through ball and Altintop springs the offside trap - Valdes comes out and Altintop dinks the ball over the Barca keeper only for the ball to trickle just wide.
    • 70' Great stuff from Pander as he skips past two players on the left and before checking a good ball back to Ernst. The midfielder dragged a poor shot that Asamoah nearly turned in. The linesman's flag went up but Asamoah was level.
    • 67' Milito gets booked for pulling back Sanchez.
    • 64' But now Barca have had a few little counter attacks - Expect to see Asamoah make way pretty soon - he looks very tired.
    • 61' Schalke enjoying a little spell of pressure now but there is still a cutting edge lacking in their play.
    • 60' Schalke make their first change and top scorer Kuranyi is off. On comes Uruguayen international Vicente Sanchez.
    • 59' Superb cross whipped by Pander but Milito manages to produce a super defensive header with Kuranyi lurking.
    • 57' Westermann has been one of the only proactive players for Schalke tonight he has just cut in from the left and tried to fire a shot on target but it goes well over.
    • 54' Very drab spell in the game at the moment - Barca are in second gear at the moment and that is all they need to be.
    • 50' Barcelona give Pander far too much space and he can line up a shot from 35 yards - he fires a great low shot if a little straight that Valdes spills. Schalke didn't have anyone chasing it down though and Barca can clear.
    • 49' Altintop checks back well on the edge of the area and then gets a good shot away but it is deflected wide. Pander can't do anything from the corner.
    • 47' Again Barca just knocking the ball around in the early stages of the half. No "sense" in the air of a change.
    • 46' And we are back underway here in Germany.
    • HT And there is the half-time whistle - far too easy for Barcelona. They were leading 2-0 at half-time against Betis at the weekend but lost 3-2. Hard to see Schalke doing something similar but you never know!
    • 43' Again SchalkeAgain Schalke make a half hearted penalty appeal as Zambrotta nudges Kuranyi out of the way when a cross comes in - but you very rarely see them given.
    • 41' Remember the winners of this match play the winners of the United match and there is no real evidence to suggest anything other than a United v Barcelona semi at this stage.
    • 39 GOAL IN ROME - Ronaldo has just given Manchester United the lead with a great header - remember we have full LIVE comments of that match too.
    • 38' Henry jumps over Rafinha before falling to the ground - if there was contact that could have been a booking.
    • 36' The atmosphere is just not the same as it was at the start anymore - Barcelona are continuing to do a very professional job here.
    • 33' Asamoah now looks at the referee - he sped past Abidal to cut in from the right touchline - he then felt the Frenchman brought him down just outside the box but the referee waved it away again.
    • 32' Kuranyi is not happy - he feels he was being tugged by Milito in the box while Pander whipped a ball in.
    • 30' Superb cross from Eto'o down the right - Bordon knows he has to do something with Bojan behind him so he sticks his leg out - it goes JUST wide but nearly an own goal.
    • 28' Pander has mis-hit a few crosses already tonight which will disappoint Schalke fans because they know it is not like him.
    • 27' Schalke have got back into the game now - and are on top - but Barca will still be happy enough with how this is going.
    • 25' With his goal Bojan becomes the second youngest player to ever score in the Champions League beating Cesc Fabregas by a day. The youngest ever is Peter Ofori-Quaye for Olympiacos back in 1997. Bojan is already the youngest player to have ever played in the Champions League.
    • 23' From the corner Kuranyi gets his head on the ball but it is straight at Valdes.
    • 22' Westermann is now tripped about 30 yards out - and Schalke have another chance. Pander tries a shot this time but it is off the head of a Barca man in the wall and out for a corner.
    • 20' Free-kick for Schalke 35 yards out and a little to the right - Pander decides to use is as a chance to put in a cross - Westermann uses his backheel to flick it on and Altintop nearly gets on the end of it but it goes wide.
    • 19' Rafinha and Asamoah try a one-two but the return pass from Asamoah is overhit and that sort of sums up Schalke's night so far.
    • 17' Schalke have a "shot" on target - it is Kuranyi from all of 30 yards but it is a poor, straight drive that Valdes saves with ease.
    • 15' Rafinha is one player who is having a tough start - he has to take some blame for the goal - he really should not have let Henry get in behind him so easily.
    • 14' Schalke are offering very little here. You would expect a lot more urgency in a Champions League quarter-final but they look very flat.
    • 12' GOOOOOOOLLLLL BARCA - 17-YEAR-OLD BOJAN HAS GOT IT. Barca have a deserved lead - Henry on the left breaks the offside trap and runs onto a lovely ball from Iniesta - his sidefoot shot is not great but Neuer spills it - and an off balance Henry is then able to poke it across to Bojan who taps in from close range.
    • 10' After 10 minutes Rijkaard will be happy with this. Barca dominating possession and Schalke look nervy and tentative - they are not putting enough pressure on the visitors.
    • 7' First chance of the night falls to Iniesta - patient build-up from Barca sees Xavi slip a great ball into the little midfielder - he then gets there first but Neuer rushed out well and was able to save from close range. The ball looked as if it would drop to Bojan and he then falls to the ground looking for a penalty. Nothing doing there though. Schlake pass it out uncomfortably but the danger has passed.
    • 6' Barca winning the possession battle early on - and they will be happy enough to just play it around as they are doing.
    • 4' Ernst is perhaps a little bit lucky to escape being booked after sliding into a tackle.
    • 4' Barca, who are wearing orange tonight - have Henry playing very wide on the left - the Frenchman won't be too happy with that.
    • 3' Rafinha runs down the right and fires in a decent ball but not enough bodies in the box and it goes wide.
    • 1' Very slow start to the match with Barcelona noticeably trying to take a bit of fizz out of things, but it will take a lot to quieten these Schalke fans.
    • - The roof is closed tonight which is really helping to keep the noise in and WE ARE OFF !!
    • - Both teams are coming out now - great atmosphere in Gelsenkirchen tonight and that Champions League music is enough to get anybody's blood pumping.
    • - For Schalke Ivan Rakitic is out but captain Marcelo Bordon is fit.
    • - Samuel Eto'o has been past fit to play for Barcelona but Lionel Messi, Deco and Ronaldinho all miss out. Young Bojan Krkic and Thierry Henry wil flank Eto'o.
    • - Welcome folks to this Champions League quarter-final between Schalke and Barcelona. After their defeat at the weekend it could be this competition or bust for Barca if they want to win the silverware this season.
