    • 40' Marquez failed to connect properly with a backpass and looked to grab the striker back... the Drog got away though and banged a shot at goal which Valdes did brilliantly to stop before getting up to get a hand to Drogba's flicked rebound. Should have been a goal.
    • 39' CHANCE FOR DROGBA... SAVED BY VALDES!! ANOTHER CHANCE FOR THE IVORIAN... SAVED AGAIN!!
    • 37' Yaya Toure booked now for dissent after he demanded punishment for a foul on Iniesta. The Camp Nou gets all hysterical.
    • 36' Ivanovic earns a lucky free-kick as Henry closes him down near the by-line. Terry Henry is not happy.
    • 35' Iniesta scoops one over the top that Cech claims. A lot of off-the-ball stuff follows with Drogba hilariously claiming Alves dived on the touchline, although he had a point; then Alves and Malouda also have a coming together.

  2. you chelsea and english fagsssss, get the facts­ straight. If chelsea was such a better team, and palyed­ better than barca, why didn't they scored more­ goals? Barca was missing Henry, they were missing 3 of­ their best defenders, Puyol, Milito, and Marques, and­ still chelse could not score more than one goal, and­ that goal was lucky from eissen. Plus the fact that­ Barca was a man down and they still managed to score.­ Also, did you forget the match at Camp Nou, when­ ballack got away with the red card, and a penalty was­ not given to Henry, and Barca had 23 shots to 3 shots­ for chelsea, and when Barca fans were complaining, you­ chelsea fans were laughing. Guess what? It's pay­ back. Face it, Barca deserved to win, they played­ better in both legs, they had more possesion and more­ shots and played real football, and not antifootball­ like chelsea did.

  11. Speaking about Chelsea, Guardiola commented on how­ difficult it is to play against a team that just comes­ out to defend. “Chelsea are a very good team, very­ physical. We tried to move the ball around and­ unbalance things though Andrés or Messi. It was very­ hard to do that against this football, Drogba-Cech,­ Cech-Drogba, and a defence of up to six players. When­ one of the teams doesn’t want to play, it’s never easy.­ But we played a good game, despite everything, only­ thing we didnt do, was score”.
    Just to note, Chelse­ didnt ONCE create a chance, Barca gifted Drogba 1­ chance, thats all chelsea did in an attempt to attack.­ How Rubbish.

  12. i have to say one more thing about that barca chelsea­ game i think if you where to ask any chelsea player­ honestly the question how good did braca play they­ would hale the barca not only for giving them just 1­ chance and making lampard anonymous so he couldn't­ ping the ball around but also creating alot of chance­ against them considering the way they were trying to­ play (lampard substituted who's ever seen that)

  13. not really if you look at the uefa cup of resent years­ it s the other euorpian sides who have dominated­ particularly the Spanish sides theres rarely more than­ 1 premiership side in the quaters if it is such a ­ strong league bolton should have the ambition and be­ good enough to win the cup i know Middlesbrough got to­ the final a cupel of years ago but they were absolutely­ hammered by seville i just dont think theres the­ strength and depth of good footballing sides in the­ premiership to do well in this comp largely due to the­ style football they are taught to play thats just my­ opinion
