    Barcelona got their Champions League Group C campaign off to a flyer with a 3-1 win over Sporting Lisbon at the Nou Camp. More

    • 18' Best moment of the match so far, and it's that boy Messi! He receives the backheel pass from Xavi, spins through 180 degrees before leaving Moutinho for dead, cutting into the box and firing a solid shot that is deflected wide!
    • 16' Xavi is spraying the ball around like this in an exhibition match, casually switching the play with 40-yard passes. It's not that Sporting have been bad. You'd have to notice them to describe them as bad.
    • 9' Henry collects the ball with his back to goal. He turns with ease on the edge of the area and fires a nice low shot... Wide of the mark. All Barca at the moment.
    • 7' Barca have barely relinquished possession since the kick-off. Eto'o is tripped over by Rochemback out on the left wing.
    • 4' Thierry Henry motors down the left and cuts back a cross for Eto'o, but the slight deflection knocks the striker off his stride.
