  • Live Commentary

    Time:90'
    • Bayern
    • Sporting
    • 90' FULL-TIME The ref blows his whistle and ends the scoring. Too easy for Bayern, 12-1 on aggregate.
    • 90' Two minutes of injury-time to be played.
    • 90' GOAL! From the resulting corner, more shambolic defending leads to a tap in for Muller.
    • 89' GREAT SAVE from Patricio denies Podolski his hat trick.
    • 87' The players are still looking for goals, even at this late stage, it's end-to-end stuff
    • 82' GOAL! No sentiment from Klose, he denies Podolski his hat trick and takes the penalty himself, dispatching it low to the keeper's left.
    • 82' PENALTY to Bayern. A ridiculous challenge from Silva on Klose.
    • 80' The game has quietened down again, Bayern look content with 10-1 on aggregate.
    • 76' HAT TRICK chance for Podolski, but the German international fires wide from a tight angle.
    • 74' GOAL! Mark van Bommel takes advantage of a Klose knockdown and some very average defending to poke home from six yard. It's five again for Bayern!
    • 72' Final change for Bayern. Muller on for Schweinsteiger.
    • 70' Sporting playing all the football now, Bayern have really taken their foot off the pedal.
    • 67' GREAT chance for Vukcevic after a delightful back heal from Izmailov, the Sporting man finds himself seven yards out with the goal at his mercy, but Butt smothers the ball.
    • 65' Silva takes a tumble with what looks like a nasty ankle knock.
    • 61' A CRACKING effort from Izmailov, the midfielder smashing a half-volley from just outside the area, Butt does well to see it through a crowd of players and punches clear.
    • 59' Pedro Silva chances his arm with a free kick from 30 yards, it's deflected wide for a corner.
    • 58' Better from Sporting, they are finally retaining a bit of possession. Has to be said without causing Bayern any real problems.
    • 55' The changes seem to have unsettled the Germans, Bayern are not as fluent as they were in the first-half.
    • 53' Also a double change for Lisbon. Abel and Ismailov on for Veloso and Pereirinha.
    • 53' There has been a double substitution for Bayern at half-time. Breno and Sosa on for Lucio and Ze Roberto.
    • 49' Bit more of a quiet start to this second-half, not even a goal yet!
    • 46' We are underway again at the Allianz Arena.
    • 45' HALF-TIME That's it for the first-half, no injury time. You can't say the fans haven't had their money's worth, it's been a goal-fest do far.
    • 43' GOAL! It's raining goals at the Allianz. This time Schweinsteiger gets in on the act. It's a simple finish from eight yards after a cross from the right.
    • 42' GOAL! Maybe a comeback? Probably not, but what a screamer from Moutinho, the midfielder lets fly from 30 yards and it flies into the top corner.
    • 39' GOAL! Oh dear, the night is not going well for Anderson. The Sporting defender prods home from a Bayern corner. A bad own-goal, what was he thinking?
    • 37' FINALLY a shot in anger from Sporting. Veloso's shot from outside the area prompts Butt to make the save, not exactly convincing from the Bayern reserve keeper.
    • 34' GOAL! Comical mix-up between Anderson and Patricio, the two colliding trying to deal with a ball in the area. Podolski neatly finishes with an overhead kick into an empty net.
    • 29' ANOTHER big chance for Bayern. Schweinsteiger's whipped free kick finds Lell seven yards out but the big man can only stab it miles over.
    • 28' Freekick to Sporting, at least 30 yards out. Moutinho smashes it into the wall.
    • 25' There's no need for that Ze Roberto! The Brazilian goes down very easily in the box looking for a penalty, the ref waves away his appeals. Should be a booking for the South American.
    • 23' A small period of possession for Sporting, it had to happen eventually.
    • 20' BIG CHANCE! van Bommel's shot is well parried by Patricio but the rebound falls to Klose, who from six yards can only hit the post. Should be 2-0.
    • 18' Sporting really don't look like causing Bayern any problems at all. They're resorting to speculative shots from miles out.
    • 14' A lovely run from Schweinsteiger sees his shot from just outside the area charged down.
    • 11' It's going to be a long night for Sporting, Bayern look like they could score with every attack a the moment.
    • 8' GOAL! That's it, surely no hope for Sporting now. Podolski picks up the ball 25 yards out and unleashes an unstoppable left -footed drive into the top corner. Superb.
    • 6' As you would expect a low key start from both sides, but there is a chance for some the of squad players to make a name for themselves tonight.
    • 2' No one has told the Bayern fans this game is a dead rubber, they're making an incredible noise.
    • 1' And we are underway at the Allianz Arena.

  18. I think sporting need to join a sunday league...........they might win it...if they are lucky. 12 - 1 is an embarassment in champions leagus football. they were poor at everything....they manage to get one silly goal back but it hardly matters.....to be honest they were out since the first leg.

why he started to play?? It looks like he was given any choice whatsoever before by
being put (by Sir. Klinsi) in the sub. squad or playing him in the wrong position.

Poldi's absence and departure has and will cause us serious troubles in the next coming rounds..

I hope you have an idea about who we are expected to face.

It ain't be same joke playing Liverpool or Manchester..

Given the real defence problem + empty midfield + individuals Toni, Lucio.. +..

I'll pray the Lord not to be crushed same way we crushed Lissabon
