    • 90'+3 AND IT'S ALL OVER!! A famous win for Bremen, who have beaten Serie A high-flyers Inter with a wonderful display of selfless team football. They have thoroughly deserved the UEFA Cup spot after dominating this match. Thanks for joining us tonight - and we'll see you in the knockout stage next year!
    • 90' Balotelli, who has only just come on the pitch, celebrates Inter's goal with a two-footed sliding tackle on Boenisch that earns him a yellow card. He's lucky it wasn't a straight red, that was a career-ender if he'd made contact.
    • 88' GOAL TO INTER!!!! Just when you thought it was over, a bit of lazy play in the centre of the pitch suddenly leaves Ibrahimovic in a bit of space - but at 35 yards out it doesn't seem like there will be much danger. Yet he unleashes a fearsome right-foot shot that rockets into the bottom corner of the net. Superb strike, no doubt about it, but it's only a consolation goal.
    • 85' The hosts are just sitting back and enjoying their moment now, while the visitors are sitting back and accepting of their fate. A half-hearted attack by Bremen is half-heartedly cut out by Cordoba, out of the path of the half-heartedly waiting Rosenberg.
    • 81' JOSE'S MEN CONCEDE AGAIN! A brilliantly worked move down the left flank results in Ozil pulling back a wonderful ball to a completely unmarked Markus Rosenberg, who can't believe his luck. He slots home from just outside the six-yard box for the easiest Champions League goal of the season. Great stuff for Bremen, thoroughly deserved, and it looks like they've all but secured their reward.
    • 77' Bremen open Inter up wide down the right, and a flying Aaron Hunt is released into space on the edge of the box. His on-the-fly shot has superb power but drifts just wide of the right-hand post. It's all Bremen once again, the goal seems to have taken all the fight out of Mourinho's boys.
    • 75' You wouldn't know from this evidence that Inter are flying in Serie A at the moment. Mourinho's men look like a team of hard men, now sliding around and chopping wildly at the runaway Bremen attack. It's Pizarro now who makes a good chance for himself, shooting effectively through the legs of Zanetti only to be well saved by Cesar.
    • 71' Bremen are still coming at Inter, and with the news filtering through of the goal in Greece it looks like Inter will be second in the group and Bremen will secure the UEFA Cup spot at the expense of Anorthosis. The German fans are loving every minute!
    • 66' Mourinho is fuming, the Inter players' shoulders have dropped, and Bremen look electrified. The Germans are building up attack after attack all of a sudden - they just can't wait to get the ball.
    • 62' AND IT'S A GOAL!!!!!!! BREMEN HAVE SCORED!!!! A long range effort by Ozil bounces off the human-after-all Cesar and falls well for Pizarro, who makes no mistake and slots it cooly into the bottom corner. Throughly well deserved over the course of the match so far... and Mourinho does NOT look happy. Unlike the home fans, who are going bonkers.
    • 60' Inter are coming back into this a bit - compared to their poor first half, at least - restricting the Germans to counter-attacking for the last few minutes. But with the score goalless in the other match the Germans need more than just a goal, they also need Panathinaikos to break the deadlock 1500 miles away in Greece.
    • 55' OFF THE LINE!!!!!!! Inter win a corner on the counter attack, which is put in by Mancini, and Burdisso gets great purchase on it with a wonderful header. It's well past Wiese betweeen the German sticks, but amazingly Fritz is on the line and clears the certain goal away at the last moment. How did that not go in?
    • 48' Despite the changes it's Bremen who make the first opening of the match, as Rosenberg puts in a great ball from the left to strike partner Pizarro. He gets on the end and forces a terrific save from Cesar.
    • 46' The second half begins, with Adriano and Materazzi coming off and Ibrahimovic and Maxwell coming on in their steads. Mourinho has clearly been fuming at the way his highly-paid stars have been overshadowed by a classy-looking German outfit.
    • 45'+2 Yet another Bremen attack ends up getting to the six-yard box with Pizarro getting in a shot, and yet again it's Cesar who ends up saving the Italian bacon. As the stats pop up at the end of the first half, the Germans have had nearly two-thirds of the possession. And it's shown.
    • 44' Bremen are looking increasingly silky, apparently realising that they've every chance of taking down an Inter team who have slipped up surprisingly. They force a corner, from which Mesut Ozil's puts in a lovely cross that finds Hunt, whose glancing header is stopped by Cesar only because he was so well positioned.
    • 40' AND THE GERMANS HAVE OPENED THE ITALIANS UP COMPLETELY!!! A wonderful move down the right flank looks to have opened the Inter defence like a tin of beans with a chainsaw. But Roseberg's final ball is pulled too far back for Aaron Hunt to get to it. What a waste.
    • 37' The Italians have had enough of being kicked off the park, and Muntari leaves his elbow in on Fritz as the German dribbles past on the right flank. That was nasty, and Muntari is very lucky to escape a card.
    • 34' Inter seem to have forgotten that they don't need to do anything to go through: you can say all you want about meaningless fixtures, the fact is that no sportsman feels comfortable intentionally dialling-down their level of commitment. The Italians have dominated play for the past few minutes and look like the more likely to score.
    • 29' The resulting free kick from just outside the area looks to be in a critically dangerous position, put Adriano loops it tamely wide. The Brazilian doesn't look at his sharpest tonight, it must be said. No wonder Mourinho wants to swap him for Drogba.
    • 28' BAM! Frings flies in on Quaresma and the German receives a yellow card for his troubles. With the way they've been sliding in on the Italian team, it was only a matter of time before the hosts pushed the referee's laudable tolerance a little too far.
    • 25' Two successive boneshaking tackles fly in from Bremen centre-back Sebastian Prodl. If the Germans don't get something out of this match it won't be for a want of physical effort - and unfortunately for Inter's play-actors, the ref doesn't look like he'll fall for any of their nonsense.
    • 20' Bremen's pressure leads to the inevitable counter-attack by Inter, and all of a sudden their Brazilian superstar Adriano looks to be almost clear on the end of a medium-long ball up from midfield. Yet it just doesn't bounce for him, and the ball loops harmlessly into the air off his toe. The Germans breathe again.
    • 16' More drama follows the clearance as Bremen's Rosenberg takes out Materazzi, whose prodigious play acting fails to earn anything but score from referee or crowd alike. Having writhed on the ground in fake agony for several minutes, the Oscar-worthy Italian is escorted off the pitch for enforced 'injury' treatment.
    • 15' Bremen start making things happen, moving up the pitch with purpose and forcing Inter to concede a corner. It's well taken by Cesar, and cleared out.
    • 12' A hell of a tackle goes in on Burdisso, and the Inter man goes flying to the floor. He picks himself up for the promising free kick into the box, but Zanetti blasts it comfortably past all the men in the box.
    • 7' Still 0-0 in Bremen in what is shaping up to be a fairly cagey encounter. Almost makes you think that the Germans are waiting to see what happens in Greece before they make a charge.
    • 2 Bremen are going for it at the start, and Inter keeper Julio Cesar goes down under pressure and lands badly. Clearly winded, he seems to get his breath back after a few minutes.
    • 1 The match gets under way in Germany.
    • - Welcome to our LIVE coverage of Bremen against Internazionale! Inter are already assured of qualification, but Bremen are playing for a possible UEFA Cup place.
