    • Real Madrid
    • 94' Full-time at Stadio Olimpico and Juventus have managed to cling on to a crucial 2-1 victory over Real Madrid. Claudio Ranieri's side subsequently leapfrog the Spanish champions to take top spot in Group H.
    • 92' Sergio Ramos and Iker Casillas are the only Madrid players inside their own half as the full-back launches a free-kick into the Juve box, but the Bianconeri scramble it clear.
    • 90' Sneijder takes a tumble now and this time Wolfgang Stark takes the bait. The Dutchman stands over it, from 20-yards out but can only find the base of the Juve wall.
    • 89' Van Nistelrooy, on the other hand, looks absolutely shattered and a promising delivery from Ramos eludes the striker through nothing more than sheer fatigue.
    • 87' The 36-year old Pavel Nedved looks as fresh as anyone on the field and the Czech midfielder beats the substitute Drenthe in a race to keep hold of possession for his side.
    • 85' Roysten Drenthe wins a free-kick after drawing Del Piero into a clumsy tackle, but Sneijder's free-kick is missed by Ramos at the back post.
    • 83' Ruud van Nistelrooy takes a shameful tumble inside the box as Giorgio Chiellini makes an impeccable tackle. The Holland striker kissed the turf with a delayed and frankly disgraceful dive.
    • 81' Schuster has switched his starlet Robben to the right wing to test Cristian Molianari's mettle. The Dutchman immdediately beats his man to the byline but his final ball is poor.
    • 79' Iaquinta is a renowned super-sub for Italy and Claudio Ranieri will be hoping the striker can give his side daylight in the final ten minutes, although they remain under the cosh for now.
    • 77' The fit again Vincenzo Iaquinta has been introduced by the Tinkerman in place of the goalscorer Amauri de Oliviera. His exit is met with an appreciative ovation from the home fans.
    • 76' Real continue to press forward, with Juventus camped-out inside their own half, unable or unwilling to advance further upfield.
    • 74' Bernd Schuster has decided to freshen up his midfield for the final 15 minutes, replacing Rafael van der Vaart with Roysten Drenthe.
    • 72' Heinze, who prior to the goal had been almost anonymous in the opposing half, is now marauding down the left for Real at will, posing all sorts of problems for Grygera.
    • 70' A raking cross-field pass by Arjen Robben almost finds Van Nistelrooy at the back-post but is just too high for the big striker.
    • 68' Alessandro Del Piero has a dangerous free-kick for Juventus from 20-yards out, but the forward wastefully sends it sailing over the bar.
    • 67' No sooner had Real reduced their arreas, but their defensive vulnerabilities were exposed once again, Marco Marchionni reached the right byline and his cross narrowly evaded Oliviera in the six-yard box.
    • 65' GOAL!!! A cross by Gabriel Heinze is met with a bullet header by Ruud van Nistelrooy! It is no less than Real Madrid deserved after relentless pressure since the second Juve goal.
    • 64' Sneijder is brought down the edge of the 'D' by Giorgio Chiellini, but it is a dubious decision to say the least.
    • 61' It's that man again! Sneijder hits the post for the visitors with a powerful drive which had Manninger beaten all ends up.
    • 58' Sneijder appears to be on a one-man mission to haul Real back into this match, firing a shot from the edge of the area which the Austrian keeper palms wide.
    • 57' Neat skill from Wesley Sneijder results in a free-kick which the midfielder whips in towards Ramos, who heads straight at Manninger, but really should have done better.
    • 55' Robben is immediately into the match, dinking an exquisite cross to Van der Vaart who heads narrowly wide of Manninger's near post.
    • 54' Dutch flyer Arjen Robben has been introduced to the action by Schuster, with the ineffective Gonzalo Higuain departing.
    • 53' Real's problems seem to be exacerbating as Van der Vaart limps to the sideline with a glum look on his face. He seems okay, though.
    • 50' The home fans are buoyant and Real Madrid look absolutely stunned by their two-goal deficit. It's a long way back for Bernd Schuster's men now.
    • 48' GOAL!!! It's a second goal for Juventus as Pavel Nedved delivers a delightful cross to Amauri de Oliviera at the back post who heads it down past Iker Casillas at his near post.
    • 47' Half-hearted appeals for a penalty by Real are waved away disdainfully by Wolfgang Stark, as Sergio Ramos drilled a shot which was blocked by Grygera.
    • 45' The second-half is underway at Stadio Olimpico, with just the one change made by the managers, and unsurprisingly it is the Tinkerman who has made it.
    • 45' Former Aston Villa defender Olof Mellberg has replaced Nicola Legrottaglie during the interval to attempt to sure-up Juve's defensive line.
    • 47' That's half-time in Turin. Wolfgang Stark blows his piercing whistle and Real Madrid will have to pull their socks up if they are to retain their 100% record in Group H.
    • 45' The visitors appear, for now at least, to be content to pass the ball around at the back. Bernd Schuster will be preparing his half-time rollicking as we speak.
    • 43' Responding to Ranieri's orders, Nedved continues to drop deeper and deeper to orchestrate the home side's passing. To quell their most dangerous attacking threat is a controversial move, however.
    • 41' Claudio Ranieri is in fine form on the touchline, full of frantic expressions as his team look to cling on to their lead going in to half-time.
    • 39' This time Raul is caught offside by the eagle-eyed linesmen. He failed to control Sneijder's pass anyway though.
    • 37' Cristian Molinari has a strong run down the right brought to a halt by the offside flag as he looked to beat Gabriel Heinze.
    • 35' Hasan Salihamidzic replaces the injured Marchisio to add further woe to Ranieri's ever-diminishing squad.
    • 34' Claudio Marchisio collides heavily with midfield team-mate Mohamed Sissoko and he is stretchered from the field to the disbelief of his manager Claudio Ranieri.
    • 32' He might be struggling defensively thus far, but Sergio Ramos has a dangerous run of his own. However, the right-back fails to control Kepler Pepe's cross on his chest in the Juve area.
    • 30' Nedved breaks free of Ramos' grasp down the left wing and is through on goal, only to have his run ended abruptly by the sight of the offside flag - a tight call.
    • 28' A terrific run from Zdenek Grygera results in the full-back finding Oliveira with a free header, but the striker directs his effort wide of Casillas' goal.
    • 26' A poor tackle from Claudio Marchisio on the rampaging Sneijder is surprisingly waved away by referee Wolfgang Stark, who appears keen to keep his cards in his pocket.
    • 23' This time Van der Vaart has a shot on his weaker right foot from the edge of the hosts' box, but again it does not test the Austrian keeper as it sails over the bar.
    • 20' Raul squanders a great chance for Real as he finds himself inside the Juve area with just the keeper to beat. However, the striker's attempt is poor, dribbling tamely to Manninger.
    • 19' Superb tracking-back from the shaven-headed Wes Sneijder denies Del Piero having another strike on goal, this time from the edge of the area.
    • 17' A hopelessly optimistic effort from Fernando Gago from 35-yards gives Manninger a comfortable catch. Schuster is disgusted on the touchline at his midfielder's audacity.
    • 14' A marauding run from full-back Cristian Molinari forces a corner for Juve on the left. Again Sergio Ramos was slow to track the run.
    • 11' Rafael van der Vaart unleashes a fearsome strike from all of 35-yards which drifts narrowly over Alex Manninger's crossbar with the keeper groping towards it nervously.
    • 10' The home side continue to stretch Bernd Schuster's back-four and it takes an impeccably-timed tackle from Fabio Cannavaro to prevent Marchionni causing further damage down the right wing.
    • 8' Real are reeling from that hammer blow delivered by the Juve captain. Stadio Olimpico is a cacophony of noise as Ramos et al play it about at the back.
    • 5' GOAL!!! It's that man Del Piero with a thunderous strike from 20 yards after playing a delightful one-two with Oliveira.
    • 4' Alessandro Del Piero and Pavel Nedved are already combining to good effect early on for Juventus, the latter peeling off down the right wing, troubling Sergio Ramos.
    • 2' Marco Marchionni delivers a dangerous cross from the right and Amauri Oliveira has a free header but tamely finds Iker Casillas without troubling the Spain shot-stopper.
    • 1' We're underway at Stadio Olimpico and officiating this contest is the rather ominously-named Wolfgang Stark.
    • - Olof Mellberg and Vincenzo Iaquinta return to the bench for Juve, while Mohamed Sissoko is back in the fold following suspension. However, Christian Poulsen has joined a mounting casualty list including David Trezeguet, Jonathan Zebina, Cristiano Zanetti, Tiago and Mauro Camoranesi. Meanwhile, morale is high for the Merengues who boast a 100% record so far in Group H. Bernd Schuster has chosen to employ a three-pronged midfield of Rafael van der Vaart, Fernando Gago and Wesley Sneijder, behind Ruud van Nistelrooy, Raul and Gonzalo Higuain.
    • - Welcome to the Group H encounter between Juventus and Real Madrid at Stadio Olimpico in Turin. The Bianconeri are in the throes of a five-match winless streak and under-fire boss Claudio Ranieri is bemoaning the absence of a number of key players. Meanwhile the Merengues camp are bullish following their victory in Saturday's Madrid derby. Ruud van Nistelrooy has already scored twice in this year's competition and he will be looking to add to his tally, spearheading a three-man strike force for Real tonight.
