90' The Liverpool fans may be unhappy at the current scoreline, but they are not too irate to give former player Luis Garcia a warm round of applause as he comes on to replace Simao for Atletico. The fourth official signals four minutes of stoppage time.

Some wonderful quick exchanges almost sees Kuyt released at the byline, but Gerrard's ball is slightly too long.- 65' You can sense that Liverpool are beginning to lose patience, and Steven Gerrard fires a shot from way out that goes wide of the near post. He's not had his best evening tonight.
