    • 90+4 The final whistle goes and Real Madrid pull off a somewhat fortuitous win! 100 per cent record for the Spaniards so far, but boy didn't Zenit deserve more!
    • 90+3 The ball is headed behind by Heinze but it had already gone out so Real get a goal kick.
    • 90+2 A rare slip by Arshavin as his feet fail him and Real come forward. Aniukov gets it though and tries a counter but it's rebuffed. Diarra just launches the ball as far as he can, out for a goal-kick.
    • 90+1 FOUR minutes of added time. Come on Zenit!
    • 90' Ball over the top is flicked on and Arshavin is on the right, a brilliant cut-back leaves Van Nistelrooy and Heinze on their bums and he slides it across for DANNY but his finish is blocked and over for a corner!
    • 89' The throw in is worked left and Saviola can score with his first touch but drills the low shot wide!
    • 88' REAL SUB: Higuain off for compatriot Saviola.
    • 87' Real manage to actually get the ball out of their half this time and Drenthe wins a free-kick on the right.
    • 86' The corner is cleared but Zenit have men everywhere. It's launched into the box again and drops to DOMINGUEZ WHO TAKES A TOUCH but blocked by Casillas! Real clear but Zenit come forward again, Denisov on the right he drills it in low and Casillas and Ramos miss it and Sirl cuts it back but put behind for a corner!
    • 85' Arshavin chasing again but Javi Garcia gets in the way. Still with Zenit though and Dominguez now on the right but his low driven ball is blocked behind for a corner by Heinze.

Robben goes down the other end and almost scores himself, but he drags it wide!
    • 75' Real almost get a third after some rubbish defending by Puygrenier lets Higuain in but his shot is straight at Malafeev, it rebounds off Higuain though and flies over!
    • 74' Zenit have gone 3-5-2 now, with Arshavin moving up alongside his mate Tekke. They left enough spaces at the back before this so expect at least one more goal.
    • 73' ZENIT DOUBLE SUB: Dominguez on for Hubacan, Tekke on for Pogrebniak.
    • 72' Pogrebniak turns Cannavaro, who sticks with him and makes him knock it wide. The cross from Sirl is put behind for a corner, which Hubacan heads over.

    • 62' REAL MADRID SUB: Not one for the neutral - Van der Vaart is taken off. He's been their best player tonight, but obviously Schuster knows that Zenit could easily equalise. Javi Garcia on for Real.
    • 61' Tymoshuk tries to play it through the Real defence, but Cannavaro and Pepe are pretty good at their jobs so it will need to be spot-on to get through them.

    • 41' Arshavin with a great run down the left but the final ball doesn't match. Now Danny has the ball, superbly weighted pass to Denisov on the right and he drills it low for POGREBNIAK but Casillas gets just enough to put it the right side of the post for a corner!

    • 36' Higuain makes a run through the middle and a superb backheel by Van der Vaart finds him and he's in but fires over! Hubocan got back in time to put him off. Lovely stuff from Van der Vaart.
    • 35' Van der Vaart is finding his rhythm now, an almost inch-perfect through ball for Higuain but Malafeev reads it and intercepts.
    • 34' Van der Vaart pops one in from the right and it should be easy for Malafeev but he drops it, fortunately no-one is around to capitalise and he gathers the loose ball.
    • 33' Booking for Tymoschuk after he went in late on De la Red.
    • 32' Good defending by Real as Denisov lofted one info Pogrebniak.
    • 31' Real with a rare foray forward, Van der Vaart on the edge of the area tries to drill it across goal but it's blocked and deflected AND VAN NISTELROOY SCUFFS THE SHOT INTO THE BOTTOM RIGHT FOR 2-1! An opportunist's strike from the Dutchman, Real re-take the lead!
    • 29' Ramos has to head the ball behind for another corner. Zenit have dominated since the 13th minute.
    • 28' Another good spell for the hosts now, with Real on the rack, Arshavin plays it in, Ramos should clear but Pogrebniak closes him down and Zenit win a corner!

    • 25' Real almost bounce back straight away as De la Red plays in VAN NISTELROOY but Malafeev saves!

    • 22' Zenit are playing really well now, Sirl again on the left sends it to ARSHAVIN but his drive is well-held by Casillas.
    • 20' Zenit really turning it on now and they have men over but a great challenge by De la Red, the Russians still have it and Arshavin and Denisov are in but the over-cook it, it's half-cleared AND HEINZE WITH A SUICIDAL BACKPASS FOR POGREBNIAK but Casillas dives onto it and gets a boot in the chest for his troubles.
    • 19' Sirl surging down the left, good turn of pace and a wicked cross towards the penalty box AND ARSHAVIN MUST SCORE but he can't get a head on it! It misses Pogrebniak too and Real survive!
    • 17' Good break from Real but Zenit manage to clear.
    • 16' A bit of shoving in the Real box but Casillas gets a good fist on it and the ball is lofted out for a goal kick.
    • 15' Seeing a bit more of Zenit now, winning a corner on the left. They have to pressurise Real, keep the ball near their goal, as sitting back will just play into the Spanish team's hands.
    • 14' Arshavin in space on the left, he swings a cross in for Pogrebniak but headed away and Real can counter. That breaks down though and Zenit come again.
    • 13' A brief spell of pressure for the hosts, urged on by the fans, but it's all fairly disjointed and Real are fairly well-organised at the back as Pepe and then Cannavaro clear.
