    • - Arsene Wenger says the absence of Cesc Fabregas will be no excuse if Arsenal fail to beat Porto at the Emirates in the Champions League. View a video of Wenger's interview here!
    • - It's time for some facts and figures ahead of this evening's encounter at the Emirates Stadium...
    • - Arsenal have won only three of their last 15 knock-out games in the Champions League, losing their last three (both legs against Manchester United in the semi-final last season and the first leg of the last 16 against Porto this season).
    • - Arsenal have hosted Porto twice at the Emirates, scoring six goals and conceding none. The last non-English side to beat Arsenal on their own pitch in the Champions League were Inter Milan who won 3-0 at Highbury back in September 2003.
    • - Porto have a dreadful record when they have travelled to England in European competitions: in 14 visits to these shores, they have lost 12 times and drawn twice.
    • - Porto have had more shots, including blocked, than any other side in the Champions League this season (148). Hulk has had the most shots, including blocked, among the players left in this season's Champions League (32). On the other hand, Arsenal are the most accurate team when it comes to finding the target: they have done so with 59 per cent of their shots (excluding blocked).
    • - Arsenal have hosted Porto twice at the Emirates, scoring six goals and conceding none. Sol Campbell has only scored two goals in 40 Champions League games, both of them coming in his last two outings.
    • - TEAM NEWS: Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas did not train with the rest of the first team on Monday after picking up a hamstring injury in the Gunners' 3-1 win over Burnley at the weekend.
    • - The Spaniard found the back of the net before being forced off the pitch with a recurrence of the same problem which kept him out for three weeks earlier in the season. Veteran defender Sol Campbell did, however, join in training and he looks set to recover from a groin problem in time to face the Portuguese side, who will take a 2-1 lead to the Emirates Stadium.
    • - Cameroon international Alex Song is available as his two-match suspension does not apply in Europe. Andrey Arshavin and Abou Diaby could both feature after coming off the bench against Burnley, while Mexican Carlos Vela could return to the squad after international duty. William Gallas (calf) is still sidelined, while Aaron Ramsey (broken leg), Robin van Persie (ankle) and Johan Djourou (knee) are long-term absentees.
    • - Porto will be without Brazilian midfielder Fernando, who misses out with a thigh injury. The only other absentee for manager Jesualdo Ferreira is Ernesto Farias with a knee injury. The striker also missed the first leg at the Estadio do Dragao. Porto have lost on all six of their previous trips to London in European competition.
    • - Arsenal claimed an away goal but should have won as bad mistakes from Lukasz Fabianski gifted Porto two goals in a 2-1 defeat for the Gunners in the first leg at Estadio do Dragao. First-leg match report: Porto 2-1 Arsenal
    • - Arsenal host Porto at the Emirates Stadium needing to overturn a 2-1 deficit from the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

I have to admit being an Arsenal fan is really hard but its the same to al things in life so if u get a quick fix test like Chelsky doesnt test as good as real, its better to wait and have dignity and proud I know I have wrote shiite and bad things about Arsene Wenger and the Boys sometimes out of frustation, but being a young dad I can c AW vision it takes time to enjoy the seeds of your children fruits and one must make sacrifices and one has to ask why I have to put my kids trough it because sometimes money is not enough and we as a family stand togheter and get closer and stronger I am an Arsenal fan because I know that AFC is just like my family they struggle 2gether and win 2gether and I know most of AFC fans dont realy expect 2-3 cups but even one cup with our stadium half paid and our young players affordable and gredy free and non more primadonas like Adebayou it nice, last night I saw AFC kids and olds boy like Sol united in a team spirit it made me cry because in life the best things are made from real sacrifices and AW has made sacrifices like mine and other honest families that have to pay bills.. why buy more debt when we already in debt its an example 4 al of us that we must b proud that We have an honest manager that did not buy a striker because he does not want to leave debt to is kids like MAnudebtunited and Chelsky KGB money AFC will pravail with grace and good footbal and honest management in credit crunch times VIva Arsene Wenger Viva AFC we wil win a cup but we already champs of debt and financial and ethical excelence in management and fair salary structure.....
