    • Girondins Bordeaux
    • 90' Full time in Germany, whistles ring out around the Allianz-Arena, Bayern have a mountain to climb to qualify now. Bordeaux win 2-0.
    • 90' You have to say, the Germans have been disappointing but Bordeaux have been excellent, resolute to the end and they have taken the gifts presented to them.
    • 89' GOAL FOR BORDEAUX! Disaster for Butt in the Bayern goal, a long ball over the top sees the German goalkeeper come flying out, he misses the ball completely and Chamakh fires into an empty net, another gift. 2-0!
    • 86' Into the final four minutes at the Allianz-Arena, the home fans are leaving, not a good sign!
    • 84' They said it was must win in Germany, and it is looking increasingly like Bayern will have to win their last two games to qualify. Bordeaux look comfortable.
    • 81' Bayern are getting very frustrated now, committing silly fouls which Bordeaux are only too happy to take.
    • 78' Gourcuff could have sealed the points there! He fires wide when well placed at the back post!
    • 77' Robben looks to be in on goal, but the flag goes up for an earlier offside, frustrating for the Germans!
    • 75' Bayern have only failed to score four times in the last 33 Champions League matches, but with Toni, Gomez and Robben on they still don't look like getting a goal.
    • 72' Bordeaux are 18 minutes away from qualifying for the knockout stages, and although Bayern are dominating they havenÂ’t opened the French side up for a while now.
    • 70' Man City manager, Mark Hughes, is in the stands tonight, I wonder who he is casting his eye over? More millions to spend in January.
    • 67' Wendel comes off for Jussie.
    • 65' Bordeaux have taken the sting out of Bayern's attack at the moment, they are enjoying a rare spell of possession.
    • 62' TONI ALMOST IN FOR BAYERN! Carrasso smothers the ball well at the Italians feet.
    • 61' ROBBEN FIRES JUST WIDE! Great work from Bayern finds the Dutchman in the box, but the winger misses from a tight angle.
    • 58' Gomez replaces Braafheid, the home side are going for it now.
    • 55' Bit more urgency from Munich, they are moving the ball a lot quicker now, unsettling their French visitors.
    • 53' GREAT BLOCK FROM CIANI! van Bommel breaks into the area and lets fly from 15 yards, but the Parisian defender gets down well to deflect the effort wide.
    • 50' Tymoschuk looks in a bad way after landing awkwardly in a challenge with Wendel, he comes back on after some treatment.
    • 47' TONI MISSES FROM 12 YARDS! The Italian international breaks free of the Bordeaux defence and absolutely hammers an effort over the bar, should be 1-1.
    • 46' Arjen Robben is on for Klose, can the Dutch star spark the German's into life?
    • 46' The second half gets underway in Bavaria.
    • 45' Pranjic booked for a late challenge as the whistle blows for half time. Lots of jeers from the home fans. They have to improve dramatically in the second half.
    • 45' More passing and passing from the Germans to on avail, they desperately need a goal.
    • 43' Few whistles from the home fans, Bayern have not been great, they are really missing the quality of Robben and Ribery.
    • 41' Not only was Bordeaux's goal poor defending, it was also terrible goalkeeping, Butt seemed to palm at the ball, only helping into the net even quicker!
    • 39' The hand ball was a difficult one to spot from the referee's point of view, but Bayern are bound to feel sore, they should be 1-0 up and find themselves behind!
    • 37' GOAL FOR BORDEAUX! They have nicked one! Terrible marking from van Bommel, Gourcuff loses him and heads a free-kick into the back of the net, an absolute gift for the French!
    • 34' HOW DID BAYERN NOT SCORE? Schwiensteiger's free-kick causes havoc in the Bordeaux defence, the ball is fired back in and Ciani stops Klose's goal bound shot with his hand, definite penalty and red card, but the ref missed it!
    • 31' Yellow card for Diarra, he clatters into van Bommel. The Dutchman knew it was coming and made sure the defender caught him.
    • 30' Gourcuff gets the bird from the home crowd, he moseys over to take a corner and then proceeds to fire it straight into the first defender. What a waste.
    • 28' Blanc's side look pacey on the break, but they are simply not committing enough men forward to cause Bayern any problems.
    • 25' A rare attack from Bordeaux, they break and Wendel's cross is just too high for an unmarked Gourcuff.
    • 22' The French champions will be very happy with this start, Bayern have had 62% possession but havenÂ’t threatened once. Bordeaux have come to avoid defeat and they're doing it easily.
    • 19' Braafheid wastes a great chance to rifle in a free-kick from the right, it hits the top of the net, no chance for a header there.
    • 17' It's like a game of chess at the Allianz-Arena, both teams probing and passing, but no real openings, both keepers have been fairly redundant.
    • 14' Good move from Bordeaux, they open up Bayern down the right, Plasil bends in a cross but it is well cleared by Demichelis.
    • 12' Pretty cagey from both sides at the moment, Bayern are having the majority of possession but Bordeaux have not been troubled.
    • 10' Luca Toni breaks free and is clear of the Bordeaux defence, but the referee's assistant raises his flag.
    • 8' Ribery a massive miss for Bayern tonight, the French international is still suffering from tendonitis in his knee.
    • 6' Good pressure from the away side, they aren't giving van Gaal's team any time on the ball.
    • 4' Braafheld hits the woodwork with a cross from the left! He certainly didn't mean that!
    • 2' Confident start from Laurent Blanc's side, Gourcuff fires a shot from 30 yards but it flies way over the bar.
    • 1' And we are underway at the Allianz-Arena.
    • ' Must win for the German giants tonight, they currently sit third in Group A, three points adrift of the French champions.

  7. Completly Dissapointed. At the moment no team has to fear us. That's not a Bayern Munich Team anymore. It's a shame how some players act on the pitch. Some of them are not worth to wear a Bayern Munich Shirt. Start fighting. Things must change. NOW!!!

  8. This is how we know a good coach. Arsene Wenger is being reflected in Laurent Blanc who is a product from AW Coaching academy. He has been doing it big with Bordeaux. The results say it all.
Wenger, more greese as you keep building young players and also good coaches. kudos

  9. This match was destroyed mainly by the referee. There were 2 penalty not awarded to Bayern and he was interrupting the match in every touch between the players. That gave another direction to the match so it ended 0-2 like no one thought. Bayern must win in Turin now and Bordaeux must do what they now against Juve.
    BAYERN UBER ALLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAYERN=CHAMPIONS

  10. jonathan c , I think you must be careful when you talk about a former big club because Bayern is one of the top 5 clubs in Europe and it will be back soon from this bad moment. Don't forget that Bayern won UCL on 2001 and in my opinion it will surely win it again in coming 3 years. Every team has its bad moments and now it is Bayerns, If you have seen any football before some years you can remember that for many years Barca was nothing and Inter too and like this many other teams. when you say that Bayern doesn't attract big players any more how is it possible that Robben, Ribery, Lahm and Schweinsteiger are still there and Ribery will sign a new contract with Bayern.
To sum up I want to say that Bayern is and will always be there in Champions League and it can qualify also this year for the other rounds.
FORZZA BAYERN MUENCHEN, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BAYERN MUENCHEN FOREVER NUMBER 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Van Gaal is a fuc king disgrace. get hitzfield back!!! and @jonathan c: mate, you are a fuc k ing disgrace .. a club is made by it's history, and not just by it's current form. bayern have been great, and this is just a bad phase. who do u support anyway?

From Sanchit G, on Tue 3 Nov 10:00PM
  13. Van Gaal should never have been given the job in the first place. He, Hoeness and Rumminigge need to leave. Now.

  18. It was a penalty (very hard to see for the ref) but definitely not a red card. the defender was more or less on his line but the goalkeeper and a couple of other were there (behind him) too, and it wasnt intentional.

Bordeaux fully deserved the win in the first leg and did so rightfully even before Bayern (also rightfully) got reduced to 9 players. Obviously they play in counters today, and did it well. Dont think Bayern showed anythign today (except for one single chance)
