- 25 Evra overlaps Nani and whips in a low cross for Carrick, but the midfielder can only prod the ball wide from a tight angle.
- 23 Fantastic play from Rooney who spins and releases Valencia, the winger gets in his cross and the keeper fumbles but Kas is on hand to coolly mop up.
- 21 Anderson snaps into a tackle and at the moment United are dominant in the engine room.
