    Time:90'
    • Unirea Urziceni
    • Sevilla FC
    • 90' And that's the full-time whistle. A fantastic win for Unirea Urziceni, but they still need to secure a draw in Stuttgart in their final Group G match in order to progress. Tonight, though, they'll just be focusing on this great win against a determined, if largely wasteful, Sevilla side. 1-0 the final score
    • 94' Luis Fabiano smashes the ball into the side of the net, following a missed header from Galamaz. Real hearts in the mouths stuff here for Urziceni
    • 94' Final subsitution for Unirea as Ricardo Gomes comes off for Paduretu
    • 93' Amazing save from Arlauskis. How was that not the equaliser?! Konko striking the ball from just three yards out but somehow Arlauskis flings across and blocks the ball with real determination!
    • 90' And we're into the stoppage time. 5 minutes?! Not sure where that has come from. Stout defending from Unirea required here
    • 88' Second substitution for Unirea, which must be intended to break-up the game and disrupt Sevilla's stride. Varga, who has ran his heart out since the break, is coming off for Semedo.
    • 86' As it stands, Unirea would only require a draw in Stuttgart to progress
    • 85' Hmm, Perotti is fouled down his favoured left-flank but it looks like a weak decision by the ref... nevertheless Unirea clear the Argentinean's in-swinging free-kick. Sevilla not capitalising on their numerous set-pieces
    • 83' Another booking for Unirea and it's Maftei who will miss the game against Stuttgart - the Romanians beginning to look a little nervous as they realise what is at stake should Sevilla equalise...
    • 81' Perotti, who has looked lively throughout the second-half, forces Arlauskis into a decent save down to his right. Perotti making that left-flank all his own for Sevilla
    • 79' Bilasco looks in pain as he goes down, and that calls for the stretcher to enter play... as well as a drop-ball which Sevilla win.
    • 77' Bilasco bursts down the right for Unirea, as the game begins to swing back and forth. But he has no-one in support and Varas is on hand to gather comfortably
    • 76' And that was a yellow card for Galamaz, by the way
    • 76' Perotti comes on for Negredo and he is cyncially brought down by Galamaz.
    • 75' Varga again shows great enthusiasm to rob the ball off Navarro, driving the ball agonisingly over the bar having cut in well down the right-flank
    • 72' Jesus Navas sends the ball wide from 25 yards. Sevilla struggling to click into gear here, even with Renato and Fabiano now on the pitch
    • 69' Important recovery from Dragutinovic who cuts out a cross from the left which almost found Bilasco, and what would surely have been 2-0. The Serb beginning to make amends for his own-goal
    • 68' ... but the corner is safely cleared, but only to Renato whose ball back into the box is eventually gathered by Arlauskis, despite being put under pressure from Kanoute
    • 66' Teasing ball from Navas forces a corner for Sevilla down their left...
    • 64' And Unirea make their first substiution with Tiberiu Balan coming on for Sorin Frunza
    • 63' Substitutions for Sevilla. Renato and Luis Fabiano have come on for Diego Capel and Lolo respectively.
    • 62' Unirea certainly looking more positive as we pass the hour-mark. Since going ahead they seem to have a world of confidence... and Varga goes so close - another flick-on from Bilasco sees Varga strike the ball high, but it only finds the side-netting
    • 59' Dacian Varga is ruled off-side after trying to break free of Sanchez, and while that happened we can report that Stuttgart are now two goals to the good against Rangers
    • 56' Unirea go route-one and it almost pays off. Dacian Varga forcing Varas into a stinging save, with a smart turn and shot following a flick-on from Bilasco
    • 53' The game's starting to get scrappy. Jesus Navas petulantly kicking the ball away after being ruled off-side, and a yellow card is the result
    • 50' Booking for Iulian Apostol who clumsily takes out Dragutinovic
    • 49' Interestingly, there have been three own-goals scored by teams playing against Unirea in the group G and, still, no Unirea outfield player has scored more than once in this season's competition
    • 47' Negredo takes a free-kick and decides to strike at goal from far out. The ball skimming over Arlauskis' crossbar
    • 45' And we're back underway with Sevilla kicking us off for the second-half
    • 45' And that's the half-time whistle. We didn't expect this score given how the first 45 minutes had unfolded.
    • 45' Out of absolutely nothing, Unirea lead and it is an own-goal by Dragutinovic. He heads past his keeper after a Pablo Brandan long-ball into the box seems to bamboozle the Serbian defender, even though he was put under relatively little pressure. How the game needed that!
    • 45' GOAL FOR UNIREA!
    • 45' Abdoulaye Konko goes down in a heap for Sevilla, having jumped right over the top of Frunza to win the ball. He seems ok though
    • 44' The Romanians have not shown any attacking intent since the 1st minute. Their defensive attitude could certainly cost them dear in the end - Petrescu will have a job on his hands during his half-time team talk, that's for sure.
    • 43' Frunza manages to win the ball, and squares it to Ricardo but his shot from 35 yards out is tame and a perfect example of how Unirea are clutching at straws.
    • 40' The game has been pretty drab, with Sevilla in complete control here. Jesus Navas' whipped ball into the box, being the only half-chance worthy of mention over the past couple of minutes.
    • 39' In tonight's other Group G match, Stuttgart are beating Rangers 1-0 so the pressure is on for the Romanians
    • 37' Capel's shot on the edge of the box is charged down by Ersin Mehmedovic, after good awareness by Negredo to win the ball and lay it off for the Spanish winger
    • 36' We've had a few technical problems these last few minutes, but we're back now and it's still 0-0 and Unirea still look relatively disappointing, given what's at stake.
    • 27' Kanoute shows good awareness to rob the ball as Maftei and Galamaz are caught asleep, but his shot from outside the box is weak and highly ambitious
    • 25' The home fans are beginning to get restless as Sevilla's backline play keep-ball...
    • 23' Unirea haven't really shown much purpose to attack and their frustration leads to the first yellow of the match. Ricardo Gomes clattering into Diego Capel, a booking the result
    • 21' Sevilla's full-backs - Navarro and Konko - have certainly been given a licence to bomb forward tonight. The latter lays it off for Jesus Navas whose cross-come-shot is gathered by Arlauskis
    • 20' ... and from that, Sevilla rattle the woodwork again. Delivery from Capel is cleared, but the ball eventually comes back into the box and Negredo's looping header beats Arlauskis, but not the bar, and travels back off. Let off for Unirea, who are hanging on in there.
    • 19' The ref blows for a tough challenge from Frunza on Sanchez. Interesting position this, from wide outside on the Sevilla right...
    • 18' From a nice Sevilla passage of play, Negredo stabs the ball wide on the edge of the box. Disappointing from the spaniard
    • 17' Sevilla have now firmly warmed-up and are dominating possession - Unirea unable to get a hold of the ball.
    • 15' Capel is shoved over, and Lolo's resulting free-kick from well over 30 yards out is comfortably caught by Arlauskis in the Unirea goal.
    • 13' Sanchez will have to be careful here. He's committed three fouls thus far, and Ovrebo seems to have his number marked.
    • 12' Sanchez brings down Iulian Apostol, who was the man who caused all sorts of problems from his free-kick in the first minute. This time, however, his delivery is safely claimed by Javi Varas
    • 11' Off-side for Unirea's Marius Bilasco who times his run too early from a knock-down by Sorin Frunza
    • 10' That chance really did come out of nothing, and will certainly serve as a wake-up call for Unirea in terms of how dangerous this Sevilla side can be.
    • 8' Massive chance for Sevilla. Konko whips the ball in from the right, Kanoute connects and rifles his shot off the post. The rebound falls to Jesus Navas outside the box, but he blazes wide
    • 7' Sevilla look to have regained composure and are now sweeping the ball carefully through the middle of the park.
    • 5' Unirea have started the brighter of the two teams and seem to be enjoying attacking down the Sevilla right
    • 3' Correction - I think the referee blew offside for that chance for Unirea. Either way, Javi Varas did not look at all comfortable dealing with that ball into the box.
    • 2' Free-kick has gone against Sanchez down the left... and from the delivery, Pablo Brandan prods the ball in following a goalmouth scramble. But Ovrebo disallows following pushing
    • 1' And we're now under way, with Unirea kicking us off
    • - Negredo, by the way, was preferred to Luis Fabiano for Sevilla. The Brazilian not appearing to be carrying any injury, but having to settle with a place on the bench
    • - And I've just heard that the referee for tonight's match will be one Tom Henning Ovrebo from Norway, who you may remember was involved in last season's highly controversial champions league semi-final clash between Chelsea and Barcelona at Stamford Bridge. I'm sure the likes of Didier Drogba and Jose Bosingwa have fond memories of that night...
    • - I should just point out that in the reverse fixture earlier this season, Sevilla ran out comfortable 2-0 victors. However, will their guard have dropped, with qualification now secured? We'll find out very shortly, as we're under ten minutes from kick-off
    • - Sevilla, meanwhile, line up 4-4-2. Varas - Navarro, Dragutinovic, Sanchez, Konko - Capel, Lolo, Zokora, Navas - Negredo, Kanoute. Subs: Squillaci, Perotti, Luis Fabiano, Renato, Romaric, Jose Carlos, Dani
    • - And here's the teams. Unirea line up in what appears to be an attacking 3-4-1-2 formation. Arlauskis - Mehmedovic, Maftei, Galamaz - Brandan, Apostol, Gomes, Bordeanu - Frunza, Varga - Bilasco. Subs: Nicu, Paduretu, Semedo, Tudor, Balan, Onofras, Bruno Fernandes
    • - In addition, no Unirea player has scored more than once in this season's competition. Let's see if they've managed to find their goalscoring boots tonight!
    • - The omens don't appear to be good for Unirea. They are still seeking their first home win in European competition having drawn their previous two home group games. That, coupled with the fact that Sevilla have won four of their last five champions league away games, could make for uncomfortable viewing tonight for the home crowd.
    • - Unirea, meanwhile, need all three points if they are to move clear of Stuttgart and Rangers in that second qualification spot. And the stakes for there final match against Stuttgart would certainly be raised even higher...
    • - Sevilla, of course, have already qualified for the knockout phases. However, they have yet to win the group - a point in Romania tonight would be enough - and that is certainly the target for Manolo Jimenez, if his team are to avoid some of the big guns of European football in the second round.
    • - Hello and welcome to this evening's Group G matchday five clash between Dan Petrescu's Unirea Urziceni and Spanish stalwarts Sevilla
  • Summary

    • 94' Luis Fabiano smashes the ball into the side of the net, following a missed header from Galamaz. Real hearts in the mouths stuff here for Urziceni
